I woke up today thinking what can I do to fill in the time until the game tonight and saw that its airing at 3:30pm because its a Game 7 hockey game? That makes no fcking sense at all. I believe its a thing called Multi-View

It's really not that uncommon. Iirc they had Knicks/Pacers last year, Celtics/76ers 2023 & Celtics/Bucks 2022 all at the same time, so it's definitely not because of hockey like you said.
