The playoffs aren't "better" without Lebron. They're just... different. And by different, I mean they're missing the marquee attraction, the standard bearer, the guy whose absence creates a void.

The playoffs just don't have that same legendary shine without the GOAT in the mix. It doesn't have that unique, almost mythical aura, that sense that you're watching a living legend etch another chapter in his legacy? That's what's missing.

Frankly, the entire spectacle feels a tier below without its undisputed main event.

Farts are necessary just like methane gas releasing from fossil fuels. Contrary to your opinion, some of the farts can get hot and light on fire during the playoffs ala 1st round Lebron versus Timberwolves where he could not miss from three-point range. Whether it's a young fart or an old fart, they both have a few things in common. They shoot (from the a**), smell like a wet mooses butt and scare away women. Contrasts, old farts bring a nostalgia. The aroma they produce brings back fond memories, like a fart you unleashed on your younger siblings knowing the joy you'll feel when the scent reaches their unsuspecting nostrils. Young farts aka new farts bring something fresh, new and RANCID. The next coming of booty smells, a new version of the old farts. 1st timer's MIN immaturity will show up if they make it to NBA Finals. so I predict a "sweep" or "1-4". Just look at how Ant is played in Game 1 WCF.

2025 NYK arent mature enough or not well tested to go to NBA finals. Just look at BOS series and tatum injury. If NYK somehow end up in finals after ECF Game 1 tragedy, they will be SWEPT or "1-4".

OKC and IND are just different. One has a chance of MVP "sweeping" this year (MVP + FMVP in same yr). Another is just playing "care free" with no added pressure that CELTICS had.

Tbf he also had two other guys who were All-NBA the year before KD joined. I've seen people make this argument before, and it wasn't just KD, they had two other top 20 players in the league as well.

Personally, I don't care if the ratings take a hit. I like it when new teams and smaller markets get deeper in the playoffs. If everyone wants to see big markets all the time they they should just reduce the league to the Lakers, Warriors, Heat and Knicks and just have those four teams play each other all the damn time.

Even as a Cavs fan I got tired of seeing the Warriors vs Cavs all the time. I was glad the Cavs made it, I wasn't glad it was continuously against the Warriors.

OKC have been there and been "tested" last year by MAVS.

MIN are being "tested" this year by OKC in WCF.

IND has been there and "tested" last year by BOS.

NYK are being "tested" this year in ECF.

Reason, if NYK or MIN somehow sneak into NBA Finals. Series wont go beyond 5 games imo.

Only OKC vs IND has a chance of going 6-7 games. most likely Game 7.

I think they should make a senior league. You have to be 38+ to qualify for the senior league and they lower the rim by half a foot, cut off is age 50. Although the big 3 could do this and then have the seniors champs face the regular champs.
