That was a pathetic performance by him tonight. Missing wide open three's and turning over the ball in a crucial game 4. I dont want to hear no more about this dude

He's a solid all star level player, but he got overrated. He's not a top five player. Randle's been far more impactful.

Hes a happy meal variety of MJ. Like the toys you used to get in the cardboard box. Lots of bravado but soft inside cream filling like a twinkie.

Eh, people tend to be prisoners of the moment after every single playoff game. In this forum you could be a top 10 GOAT to be overrated in a matter of 48 hours. Edwards is still 23 and hasn't even entered his prime yet. Way too early to judge him, his resume is still a work in progress.

He is a 2 who is being forced to play the primary ball handler role because Conley is washed. That doesn't make him less of a player. That just means he isn't suited for that role, especially against a team like OKC.

Seems like the standard for a superstar has gone way up. He's averaging 25+ pts 5+ reb 5+ ast in playoffs career. A couple off games can't stop the history.

Welcome to social media era where fans make hot takes. Where they go from 0 to 100. Where Alex Caruso is said to be the best perimeter defender ever under 6’5.Anthony Edwards definitely had a disappointing game. I was expecting him to drop a 40 burger with cheese. The criticism is warranted. The extra stuff is not. Ain’t man? Give me a break.

Also Anthony Edwards entered his prime. Just like Shai did 2 seasons ago.

Tell that to Tatum haters. No matter what he does, he'll be "cringeworthy" and has no "aura".

Ultimately Tatum gets little respect because of his inconsistency on the court. Kawhi has no personality, but he never got the kind criticism that Tatum gets.

Ant might be the worst and most glaring victim of this analytics based era.

Here you have a guy with other worldly quickness & athleticism, a decent sized mid range bag, elite slashing, elite finishing... and yet close to half his shots are from behind the arc. Sometimes more than half.

I don't think it's because he's passive. I think he thinks he's doing what he's supposed to be doing.

Don't want to hear about this bum again. A game worst -29 in +/- on terrible outside shooting. Totally laid down despite his bravado. As bad as this game was though, his game 4 was an epic disaster that Minny should've never lost by so little given how he played.

The media and dumb fans have been hyping this glorified Isaiah Rider.

Clearly this is the worst star in the history of basketball, only two conference finals appearances in five seasons. This man is a FRAUD, it's a tramesity of bibiotechia propensities. This man had the generational talent of Julian "all-time" Randle and he couldn't beat Oklahoma. Texas's chappeau.

Absurd

Think of all the titles of Minnesota professional sports teams have brought in over the years. You are playing in a land of expectations we all knew at the start of this playoff series that the Timberwolves were going all the way. It was 4-4-4 we all knew this. Celtics, Cav's Lakers Smakers it was the Wolves year to prowl and dominate. Yes they were the six seed on paper...but they were 1 in your heart.

It really sucks because the entire league converted to the 3point centric offenses to contest the Warriors. I mean I get it, when you have a dominant champion you tailor your rosters and strategy to beat them, but that Warriors team is done as championship threats and the league could return to more balanced inside/outside/midrange play. But the horse has left the barn, you have a generation of stars programmed to do shit like run to the 3point line during fast breaks and teams taking half their shots from distance. All individual and team creativity has been sucked out of the game.
