Refreshing to see the top dogs get knocked out and some other teams build history.

Although knicks are not a small market, their advance is just as uncommon... needless to say.

This year was the "changing of the guard" moment in basketball. Just like when the mavs swept the lakers in 2011. Its officially a new era

i could care less if they are a small or big market team. i care more about playstyle.

indy's play style is the truest basketball you will see anywhere in the NBA.

Yep! I'm 100% for the Thunder and Pacers. F*ck the ratings, f*ck the fans that don't want to watch it because it's not the Lakers or Warriors or Heat or Celtics or Knicks. They're all sheep anyway.

All the people who went out of their way to post shit like, "Won't watch this series, garbage and boring." just shows how casual they are.

Winning a championship 6 years ago and now they're trying to rebuild and get better. When's the last time the Knicks won a championship?

Damn you got me. Knicks haven't won in so long that I can't talk about teams that aren't currently in the playoffs.

Enjoy being able to talk about it I guess? Another year, another no Finals for the Knicks.

What’s the lowest nba finals ratings? This series might challenge it

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NBA_Finals_television_ratings

The Finals ratings have slowly been dropping for years and years now, but after COVID there was a sharp drop compared to pre-2019. They never really recovered. Some bad outliers before COVID are 2007 Cavs vs Spurs and 2003 Spurs vs Nets.

If you look at the years though where they dipped bad it was right when Jordan retired. Jordan's last year they were 18 in 1998, then he retired and they never got close to 18 million a again. The best Finals rating since Jordan retired looks to be one of those Cavs vs Warriors series.
