View Full Version : Can the league please MOVE ON from the Inside crew?

Inside The NBA was a legendary show at one time but I'm sick of their childish antics and I think they played a huge role in lowering the bar when it comes to NBA media coverage.

The crew are a shell of what they once were. I wanna say it happened when Shaq joined. They're more annoying than entertaining now. Granted they're replacing an even shittier ESPN crew.

There's room for fun and banter but I was hoping the league would ditch them and let the adults back in the room.

You're in the minority on this. Most NBA fans still love the show. I watch it from time to time, at least it's entertaining unlike ESPN's.

ESPN will find a way to screw it up.

They'll make them add an insufferable former WNBA player, watch.

Probably. Candace Parker isn't that bad when he's filled in for Kenny. I'll be surprised if they let Barkley do what he does. "Those big ol' women down in San Antonio!" "Ain't nobody going fishin' down in Galvenstone, Texas with that dirty ol' water." :oldlol:

Im so nba'd out

The OGs remember the real replacement for them. GP, C-Webb, and Ahmad Rashad.

Sadly, the only crew that could rival inside the nba's crew was disbanded.

Even tho I can’t stand Shaq the crew is legendary and will remain so no matter where they would’ve ended up. Ernie is the glue. No disrespect will be tolerated. I wasn’t at all sad like everyone else was because they are just moving to different networks. The sad stuff is employees passing away and the crew showing them love given thier relationship. Definately a family oriented group. THAT may be lost over as espn. ESPN isn’t known for such a friendly welcoming group.

Nothing wrong with adding a woman former hooper be it wnba or college. Monica McNutt would be perfect. She’s a vibe, great energy, knowledgeable, reads the room well, has fantastic questions that challenge without making the person get in their emotions.

No thanks. Alot of the male banter will go out the door with a woman. Maybe add one when Shaq or Barkley are absent for the day.

She doesn’t shy away from that banter. She actually will add on, counter with humor without it being awkward or having them like “well gotta watch what we say now”. Monica is the one.

Monica McNutt is a woke anti-white racist so she could hit the bricks.

I would keep females off the panel. Candace is knowledgeable obviously, I would never take that away from her, but that doesn't mean she's owed a seat at the table when it comes to covering men's basketball. It's a totally different subject matter.

Plus the tone and energy is always different when a female is involved. Have you ever argued with a woman? Newsflash it's a lot different than arguing with a man. You can't say the same things. There's lines you don't cross. These shows are always best when it's raw energy and the guys go at each other. Throw a woman into the mix and all of a sudden there's a soft feminine energy guiding the whole broadcast. Everyone here is slurping the Inside crew meanwhile if there was a woman on the panel from the start the show would have never taken off.

I'm okay with sexy sideline reporters but keep these WNBA players away from the men's game. Let them cover the women's game.

Highwhey is calling for me to get banned again because he gets dismantled everytime he tries to talk politics with me.

Also he is pro-trans and thinks it's a great idea for small children to receive "gender affirming" care.
