Two brand new teams on the finals stage for the first time? Totally ripe for ugly ass basketball for the first few games.

2000 and 2012 don't count?

It's only going to be ugly for Indiana.

The OKC Thunder are built to stop teams like this with their defense.

2012???

2000: Pacers vs Lakers
2012: Thunder vs Heat

...both organizations have made the Finals before this year. You said it as if neither of them ever made it. Did I misunderstand?

He CLEARLY meant the current teams/rosters, what the fvck would the Pacers making the Finals 25 years ago have to do with anything :oldlol:

Just a weird way to go about it since there's players who have made the Finals on both rosters. Usually in my experience you go by if the organization made the Finals.

It's already ugly with those fat white OKC fans.

None of the star players have, except Siakam.

Both teams have ugly shooting forms. Not sure who's shot looks worse, Shai's or Hali's?

Everyone's so down on it that I'm starting to get a little worried for OKC. Pacers can get up & down the court fast so they should have a chance to win at least a couple games where OKC doesn't make their 3s and Pacers get out in transition.

The best chance for the Pacers is to push the ball. Even on defensive rebounds push the ball. Walking the ball down the court and letting OKC setup defense is just asking for yourself to lose the game.

And that's how they got Game 1. Early offense.
