Interesting read/video on how the trade had a trickle down effect and will deliver one of these two teams a title because of that trade.

I am not a fan of Paul George (I hated him doing the podcast while his team was losing all the time), but saying this is rubbish. There are several different reasons why these two teams are in the finals: having great coaches, good player development, great moves by GMs, etc. The only thing that PG had an impact on was them getting some good players. The rest of the success of these franchises has nothing to do with him.

I get that, but his often is one player being traded led to both franchises having a shot at a title years later meeting in the Finals themselves? Players on both teams in the finals can be linked back to the George trade.
