I haven't changed relative to the political reference frame. It is trump who has deviated significantly from his campaign policies. The economy is absolute sh1t, investors are hoarding cash and not spending because of the back and forth tariff talks. So yeah, I'll be very vocal about holding him accountable for the sh1tshow this country is right now.

I regret to inform you but you don't get points for citing "economists". This isn't some exact science. If it were then all the world's economists would always be in agreement. Nobody can predict with certainty what's going to happen several decades out.

No universally recognized global superpower has ever had a woman rise to head of state or head of government. Is that a coincidence? You tell me. You may think this woman is intelligent but sometimes more than just intelligence is required in a leader. Trump didn't have a military background but he had several decades experience negotiating with politicians, gangsters and world leaders.

At the end of the day a woman is typically not the head of household. You can play ignorant if you want, but having a female be the face of your country on the larger world stage is going to be to interpreted as a sign of weakness by some. It isn't fair but it's the reality of the situation. Anytime you see a household where the wife/mother calls the shots and the husband/father is the submissive, you just assume it's a dysfunctional family.

So yes it's not always the case but when a country has a female leader I'm already kind of side eying them because you have to wonder where the competent and strong men are.
