It's not impressive to beat a 1-man team with a "big 3" preseason favorite and the only super-team in the NBA.

And it's impossible to lose with a sidekick outplaying the league MVP, since that's like Pippen outplaying Barkley , or Jamal Murray outplaying SGA - it's impossible to lose in these scenarios.

Yet Lebron's super-team got a 1-3 deficit against a 1-man team because Lebron averaged 24 ppg and 6 TO's thru 4 games.. The Draymond suspension renewed his hope.

Ultimately, Lebron only averaged 29 with a teammate getting 27 and hitting the 2nd biggest shot in Finals history (behind Ray's).. Since Lebron always has equal-scoring partners to attract equal defensive attention, he never defeated max defensive attention (never carried the scoring load on the championship level).

His inability to carry the "star" category of scoring required more star help, so this matters more than barely leading role player categories and still needing great role plyers to co-lead.. This is why leading all 5 categories by tiny amounts is nothing more than a statistical anomaly and minor footnote in history.

Btw, in addition to the worst-ever preseason odds for a champion in 2015, we can confirm that the Warriors had a weak roster since the 2nd option was a lower producer than Jeff Hornacek.. Curry simply carried a 1-man offense and consensus bad roster to 67 and 73 wins, so it isn't impressive that a super-team preseason favorite beat them,. This is especially true when the sidekick outplays the MVP, since that's like Siakam outplaying SGA.

You are a sick man.

He 100% has constant arguments in his own mind about Lebron and absolutely has meltdowns in real life over this crap. Guarantee you he probably had a 10 minute crying session before copy/pasting this dumb thread.

Won't be surprised if OP randomly assaults someone wearing a Lebron jersey.

There really is no good case at all for ranking Lebron above Curry.

They also had Andre Iguodala, Andrew Bogut and David Lee, who had also been all-stars in the past. It was a loaded roster. You didn't follow basketball at that time if you didn't know that.

Ever heard of a trophy called Finals MVP?

But when Bogut had a season-ending injury in the Finals in 2016 he was just a role player who was no that important, right? Iguodala also got injured in that series and wasn't healthy for Game 7 either..

Zydrunas was a 2x all-star and Larry Hughes was 22/6/5 and 1st team defense, while Snow & Varejao were all-defense and Ben Wallace was former DPOY... So this means the 08' Cavs were stacked right?.. I think they had better preseason odds than the 15' Warriors.

The 2015 Warriors shocked everyone and took the league by surprise... They had a consensus bad roster with +2800 odds and a sidekick that produces less than Jeff Hornacek, yet Curry carried it to 67 wins and then 73 wins... So again, it isn't impressive to beat a 1-man team with a "big 3" preseason favorite and the only super-team in the NBA.

Do you know they had already been in the WCF before? I mean, them winning the ring was not expected in the off-season of 2014, but they had already been deep in the play-offs.

Are we talking about 2015, 2016 regular season or the last game of the finals of 2016?

2015: Loaded roster
2016 regular season: Loaded roster
2016 game 6 & 7: Crippled roster

Although they were extremely impactful players Bogut and Iggy were basically castaway at that point financially. They werent considered All Star players that year at all. Iggy averaged like 8 ppg on the year.
