Since downright positivity is likely off the table…..

The prime crew. I foresee a future where everything Jordan says is treated like the word of God and that could get old. Prime team also had more characters.

Both suck. The fact that Reggie is on NBC makes me think I will like Amazon more.
Nash & Van Gundy are a plus for Amazon.
Mike Tirico is a plus for NBC.
Could care less about the rest.

I don't see MJ being on camera. I see him more as one of the guys who will run things behind the scenes.

Going to hate NBC less since I can watch them on TV.

Underwhelming all around.
Amazon positives: Haslem, SVG, Candace
NBC positives: Eagle, Miller, VC, maybe Tirico (once you hear him do the Olympics, you can't get that sanitized voice out of your head), maybe MJ (big question mark).
Most of the rest are awful. Just please never pair Mike Tirico and Grant Hill together, they are both sleep inducing, clean, sanitized borefests, particularly Grant. There isn't a more safe or uninteresting commentator.
Don't see him in the graphic, but isn't Harlan calling games for Amazon? That alone makes Amazon the winner.

NBC has no "hot take" guy. They will be too boring just for that reason.
SVG, Haslem and Blake will bring at least some personality and hot takes.

Not sure to be completely honest. Will be nice to get some new voices out there on the product, im most anticipating what Mjs role will be. I've seen stories ran on B sites suggesting he wants to make a splash in support of the modern game. Will be interesting to see if it plays out that way. I think no matter what they cant lose with his involvement as long as there isn't awkward silence and spotlights everytime he speaks lol.
Might be a nostalgic thing, but NBC's cast seems a bit underwhelming.
If its production is akin to the 90s and early 2000s then its a win for all fans.

What's ESPN going to look like with the TNT guys coming aboard? Are they going to take over and run the show? If so, great. That's what's needed.
But if they're just going to be used as a piece in the espn puzzle, then Amazon & NBC will both be better than ESPN. ESPN stinks at the NBA.

What will happen to NBA TV? They were partners with Turner, but now that is obsolete.
Do Isiah, Dennis Scott, Greg Anthony, Steve Smith and those guys stay put or are they on the move as well.

NBA TV is owned by the actual NBA. It's not going away, but less games may be shown.

Just read that MLB Network will start producing NBA TV as Turner will no longer produce programming for them.

Wait... MJ is going to commentate? Him and Reggie might be interesting.
Stan Van Gundy always been a GOAT at calling games.
