I like how Shames opted in for $53mil then said i wanna play for a championship. No team has 50mil of dead cap that trading for Bron will make them a contender. Even if Phx offloaded Beal to the Lakers that team isn't any better than the current Lakers. If the Lakers threw in a draft picks for Porter maybe that works. Cavs don't have the unproductive assets to warrant a trade.

Could work it out for most teams. People don’t realize how much role players make these days. Trade hunter, Strus, and Merrill and the Cavs are sending out 47 million right there. The rest is nothing. MPJ, Saric, and Nnaji are 51 million. Vanvleet, Adams, and Sheppard would do it. Thats 49 million and change and they would have Lebron run point with KD, Sengun, and Thompson. Fill in with some veteran shooters and you’re good.
Jimmy makes more than LeBron and I don’t think anyone feels a Steph/Lebron/Draymond lineup couldn’t do something for a year or two.
Paul George makes more than LeBron not that LA would be that stupid. But him, Embiid, and Maxey would at least be interesting in the same “If healthy” way all Embiid teams are.
Fox and Barnes combine to be a 56 million dollar expiring deal. Lakers could use that and Wemby/Bron would be interesting at least.
most of the potential trades don’t make sense because of the timetables of the teams that would be making the trade or the Lakers being stupid to take on long-term salary, but just talking feasibility of getting the deal done?
Pretty much every team in the league could trade for LeBron and have pieces left because $50 million isn’t what it used to be.

Cannot aggregate salaries when you're a 2nd apron team. Illegal.
Take Paul George give us Bron. The end

Also, why did you think PG13 made more than LeBron?

I don’t know if any of the trades would work from the rules perspective. I wasn’t checking for contract status or any of that. Possible sign and trades. Just responding to the part about 15 million in cap and who had it to spare player wise.

Depends on how a team uses him. He can still score, but he doesn't have the energy for defense. If they either play him off the bench, or only use him for 20-24 minutes per game as an offensive punch, he could actually be a net positive. Not sure the locker room drama and his diva mentality would be worth it though...

If the Celtics moved him for Tatum I'm not sure they would win a championship but they would be one of the best teams in the East. They would need to be sure they retain Horford and Kornet and they would be a factor.
I'm not advocating that just answering the question.

Lebron will bring in twice his salary in revenue since this might be his final season. Any team that gets him will see packed crowds, plenty of jersey sales, and sharp uptick in national broadcast games.
For that reaon alone, a trade is possible.

I've heard the mavs are interested. If Klay was traded to the Lakers for Bron. That would be a good team if healthy.
The Lakers are hoping he demands a trade, and they'll trade him anywhere he wants, anywhere because he's not even close to being a threat as far as impactful basketball goes.
The answer is clearly no.

Why would he pull a Kobe and publicly demand a trade?

Even if he was every bit as bad/evil/overrated as the crazed haters say he is a trade demand from a player with a no-trade clause is a nightmare for a GM. Q

Only seeing unrealistic trades here for the most part.
Problem is Lebron's salary is too big, and he's 1-2 years from retiring. Can't give up any serious assets for him unless you're just going ALL IN for 1 season, and it has to be a team that Lebron wants to play on.
Lebron for Jimmy Butler is one that makes sense if he actually asked to leave LA, but he won't.
