I'm curious to the facts about tips in your industry. Do you have to share them amongst your coworkers? I hear you have to provide a percentage of your sales. So if you don't get tipped, technically does that mean you pay out of your own pocket?

This knowledge has made me rethink how I tip. Just wondering if there is any fact behind it

Do you guys tip share at In-N-Out Burger? Or when you serve me my burger do you get to keep everything I give you?

When I was younger I worked as a waiter in several different restaurants. We never pooled our tips but at the end of the night we all broke off a piece for the hosts and busboys.

I applied for a job once at a hotel restaurant and their policy was for all the waiters to pool their tips. I had no interest in that so I passed.

do you tip your crack dealer?

It's reversed, he lets the dealer give him the tip.

I won’t tip electronically. Too easy for the owner to skim.

If you find an asshole everywhere you go and don’t have abysmally low iq… The logical deduction is that you are the one who has a problem, not every single other person walking planet earth.

This is hilarious coming from you. Considering you can't make it through one thread without someone calling you a druggie. :lol

In USA you have to tip. They could pay the waiters and waitresses 25/hr but then you'd pay double for your burger. The money has to be made up either way. Don't be a cheapskate.
