View Full Version : From 06-08', Lebron floor-raised Cavs to 45-50 wins, and 2019 Lakers to lottery

So where are his goat floor-raising abilities?... He needed all-stars in 2009 and 2020 to lift a 40-win team to contender status and league favorite...
Lebron needed Mo's all-star spacing to open up things for his stiff-arm game - that's how Lebron reached MVP and contender status in 09'... Mo's spacing was a better sidekick for Lebron's driving needs than Pippen's bricklaying and proven inability to space the floor.
Lebron also needed the East all-star center to make the 06' Playoffs, along with a 22/5/5 all-defender and good coach.. So he never had a bad cast that needed floor-raising like 80's Jordan... Similar to every aspect of Lebron's game, his floor-raising abilities aren't anywhere near goat and drastically overrated - he entered the league with the East all-star center on his team, while Carlos Boozer got 16/11, so there was never any bad cast that needed floor-raising..

Good.... so you're aware that you fell for a fraud.. you're aware that Lebron needed all-stars to elevate a 40 win team to league favorite in 09' and 20'.
And that he entered the league with the East all-star center and young Boozer getting 16/11, so he never had a barren cast... And Pippen is so bad that any decent spacer is a better sidekick for Lebron's driving needs, such as Mo Williams - Mo elevated the Cavs from 45 to 66 wins by providing the spacing that LeNoMidRange needs - bron can't shoot over packed paints like SGA or MJ, so he needs special spacing that they don't

All he can do is whine like a baby that I beat him up yesterday - TOO BAD - stupidity doesn't get a rest from being set straight... Stupidity doesn't just go away with the snap of the fingers... Enlightenment and high level understanding of situations takes time

I've never seen a poster make so many more wrong predictions than 3ball, I also remember him saying Brooklyn would beat the Bucks in 2021 with KD. He wanted KD to win without Curry so bad. The funny thing is, those Nets/Suns teams with KD were constructed exactly how 3ball would construct a team. A shit ton of scorers with very little playmaking and defense on the team, both teams never did much. Just shows you how important defense/playmaking is, which are concepts 3ball often ignores.
He also said the Nuggets would beat OKC last postseason.

In-the-moment predictions after a big transaction are never considered binding or re-post-worthy...
Player predictions are the ones that count, or pre-series predictions - that's where I shine and others don't..
I'm even right about Wemby - he'll never win shooting threes or dribbling as a guard.. And you guys downplay a guy like him missing half a season and probably part of this offseason - however, the margins between the top 500 players in the world are slim, so missing a year or two usually eliminates the advantages some guys have... Of course we know that Wemby has big advantages, but missing part of last season was still a big setback in his development, while is style of play/skillset offensively is far from where it needs to be - really far.... Infact, I'm already right about him because D'Aaron Fox is a franchise player and superstar, so he already needs more help than Curry, Duncan, Kobe and tons of guys.

Everyone does for immediate reaction posts to big transactions
We all have posts like that, so highlighting mine is a double-standard - it's like re-posting a random post from an in-game thread (an immediate reaction thread)...
That's obviously ridiculous and desperate, while showing that you guys can't respond to the OP or any of the points that the thread was originally about.. So your post was essentially a trophy to me for winning the thread.. Thx for the trophy

It really is incredible that Jordan retired in the middle of his prime and is STILL the most accomplished player in the history of the sport.
And still has 10x the scoring titles Lebron has. Not to mention FMVPs.......

You join a team that won 55 games without you and added another All-NBA player, it’s really not that impressive to win there.
You might as well hype up Durant’s Warriors rings.

Jordan joined a team that was barely .500 in 1995.. The honeymoon period was over and teams had woken up, so the "real" Bulls without MJ were nothing by the time he returned..
So Jordan lifted a barely .500 team to 3-peat despite playing 3 on 5 with Rodman and 17 on 41% from Pippen for the 96-98' Playoffs.. This includes worst-ever shooting splits and lane-clogging from Pippen in the 96' and 98' Playoffs.
It's actually amazing that MJ three-peated with the least spacing ever due to Rodman and worst-ever shooting splits from Pippen in the 96' and 98' Playoffs

Spacing wasn't nearly as important back then as it is now. MJ shot 19% from 3 in the '97 playoffs......with a short 3 point line.
We done with the 90's.

Everyone knows that Lebron needs great spacing to thrive, so you're saying that he wouldn't be thrive in the 90's...
Furthermore, he didn't win MVP until he had elite spacing in 09', so he wouldn't be an MVP-caliber player in the 90's.
Thank you for confirming these things and finally admitting that Lebron wouldn't thrive or be MVP in the 90's (due to no spacing, like you said).
Heck, Lebron stunk without spacing in the 2000's because he barely won 40 games in 2008 before receiving an all-star spacer to open up things for his stiff-arm skillset and drive-heavy attack.. Lebron can't win 60 and MVP in a season unless he has an all-star spacer like he did in 09' or 13'.
Btw, Jordan led the Bulls in 3-point shooting for the 91-93' Playoffs, which had better 3-point shooting than Lebron.
Ultimately, spacing has always been important and it's the reason that every MVP since the 3-point line was instituted was a dominant offensive player... Meanwhile, 2-pointer basketball (no spacing) could win with defense, so they had MVP's that were defenders like Russell.. j

Lebron wasn't the leading scorer for his team in the regular season or playoffs, so AD was the guy that didn't need spacing.
No AD, no playoffs
For Lebron to win as 1st option, he needs franchise players from other teams to play 2nd and 3rd option for him, along with phenomenal spacing (top 10 3-point percentage)

The same AD you called "Bird fed?".
.Both AD and Kareem needed super-point guards like Oscar, Magic, and now Lebron to find synergies and have a great team.
Without these guys bird-feeding them, they're losers.
