Typically doesnt but they have no better options. Rebuilding makes no sense, Kawhi's trade value is diminished by his injury history and Harden's is shite too. They have no trove of draft picks. No younger stars were available to them in free agency.

Snapping up every veteran on the market and tryin to catch lightning in a bottle is about all they can do. It's not a good situation but it's the best of a bad one.

I don't know what they were thinking signing Harden in the first place. Hopefully they can trade him in the off season for someone who can contribute to a deep playoff run.

They lost to Nuggets in 7 and one of those losses was by a buzzer beater dunk. Nuggets lost to Thunder in 7. They were really good in 2nd half of the season. They are contenders, they have a shot. Of course they are not the favorites but you do your best and wish health and luck. It's not that complicated. With all that said i have them as the 4th best team in the west rn.

Clippers' coaching staff did a hell of a job last season with how good that team was defensively in the RS & Playoffs. Offense sadly wasn't quite enough but I'd blame that on Kawhi because after Game 2 he was pretty damn mediocre in the Nuggets series with what my expectations were.

I like his adjustments, he's a top 5 coach in the league IMO.
