So was Glen Rice, Richmond, Kyrie, AD and Wade.

But unlike those guys, Pippen was a career 2nd option, and 2nd options don't get media accolade without winning spotlight

Glen rice had a better fg% than kobe bryant in the 2000 finals.

Kobe never lost a series as 1st option due to under 40% shooting, but Lebron has... He lost a 7-game series in 08' with 35% and 5 TO's.. then he three 4th quarter leads in the 07' Finals.. then he played exactly like Westbrick in the 15' Finals to lose another winnable series

Not really, All-star games were actual games in the 90's, not like the 2010's-present where players don't even take it seriously and defense is non existent. If anything it proves Pippen was a legit #1 option. We had a 192-182 score the year AD won MVP, pathetic. :lol

Bron fam wins again.

Holy shit, Shaq destroyed Hakeem at 9:47 mark. I've never seen that highlight. :lol

Don't be a weasel now bro.

Kyrie won it when he was a relative nobody and they still competed. He also dug them out of an 18 point 2nd half hole. Ditto Wade in 2010.

Ironically enough, and I didn't know this either... I think Kobe has the most All Star Game MVPs in NBA history.

:oldlol:

Tough luck little guy.

Funny enough, that 2014 All-star game where Kyrie won MVP was when fans started to have serious discussions about the lack of effort. It was the highest scoring All-star game ever, to that point. Players were not competing.

Pippen's All-star MVP holds more weight.

Didn't they name the All-star MVP award after him? How sad, now his name is used as an award in a game nobody takes serious.

By 1994, Pippen was a 3-peat champion, so this elevated his stature and confidence to a level that it would never be if he was losing on the Wizards with no respect - so MJ made Pippen - people don't seem to understand this.. Pippen is nothing without Jordan and what Jordan created (dynasty system).. Look what happened in Houston - they were thrilled to receive a 6x champion but HATED him in less than a year and gave him away for a box of cracker jacks
