It's very unfortunate that Phil Jackson didn't like Glen Rice when he played for the Los Angeles Lakers. He got some limited playing time in Game 2 of the 2000 NBA Finals. Jackson was planning to trade him for Scottie Pippen who led the Blazers in the western conference finals. Lakers acquired 3x NBA champion and former Chicago Bulls Horace Grant in a 3 teams trade. Sonics acquired Ewing, Knicks gets Rice and Horace Grant was traded to the Lakers.
