Almost in August and still haven't cracked 100 degrees over here, this entire week has been in the 70's. Very odd.
The Golden State has been a lot gloomier this summer as California experiences chillier weather and cloudy conditions which experts say is set to stick around.
Temperatures in the Bay Area have hovered at an average of 67 degrees, below the average of 71 and making it the coldest summer since 1965.
The phenomenon is due to a layer of air near the Pacific Ocean known as the marine layer, which is formed when warm, dry air comes in contact with a cool body of water.

I'd rather have that than the almost 100° every damn day here in Texas for weeks straight.

yeah, az hasn't had the usual hot summer either. last week the high was in the 90s. which is very odd for july because it's peak summer technically, it should be 115 right now instead the high today is 104.

San Fran is currently having it's coldest summer since 1965 due to some rare jet stream occurrence. The rest of the country is warm though.
2024 was the hottest year ever recorded
