It's been talked about - whether or not Jokic's heart is really in the NBA. Make of it what you will.
He cares about more horse more than an NBA ring and MVP. If he were American sports media and fans would eat him alive. Euros get a pass.

He shows more outward emotion for the horse but you don't play with his level of intelligence and focus nor do you develop his level of skill if you don't care. he's got three MVPs, led his team to a championship and finding his last bad game requires at least a two-minute Google search. He's not perfect but he cares.

He obviously puts in the work and competes when he's on the floor, who the hell cares what he does in his free time? He obviously cares about basketball, he just doesn't seem thrilled about the pageantry that comes with the NBA. I get it.

Only if he were underachieving relative to his talent.
I just took a look at his resumé and that appears not to be the case.
Tim Duncan was very ho-hum about NBA success and it was never made into some big criticism.
It's something people only turn into an issue when a guy isnt living up to his hype. Then they question why he has any other priorities in his life (which is still silly but it's what fans do).

Yeah, that's the issue I have with Lebron. Dude just isn't living up to the hype.

I feel like thats part of what makes him so GOAT. He doesn't care. He isn't burdened by the weight of expectation. Weve seen guys fumble the bag a little bit because they cared so much and crumbled under pressure. 2004 Kobe or 2011 Lebron for example. Yolk just throws the ball in the hoop and goes home. He doesn't give a ****.

Tim Duncan is a bad example. Even if Jokic underachieve it wouldn’t draw criticisms. Euros are under a different set of rules. American born players are expected to win. To show it etc etc Luka has weight issues like James Harden. Luka hasn’t won anything.

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make though - Luka gets tons of criticism.

Luka has been made fun of for being fat. Just like Harden. Luka is also a better playoff performer than Harden. Your example is a lot worse than Duncan Jokic one.

Luka is a loser just like James Harden is. That’s the narrative for James harden. It’s not for Luka who hasn’t won anything besides “stats”. And James harden has stats. Especially in the playoffs but the narratives is he doesn’t perform. When he does. But fans highlight the bad moments/game. I never see that with Luka. You dudes are immature so get jokes are about what fits you. Luka playoff record is under .500. But you wouldn’t know that reading comments like this. Carry on…
