Scott Soucek of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, was arrested on July 24 and accused of accessing hundreds of child pornography images through a file-sharing system.

Soucek isn’t just a Trump booster himself: he’s also the husband of a leading Republican Party operative in the state.


In a Facebook post last October, Scott Soucek listed two dozen reasons why he planned to vote for Trump.

“I’m voting to fight against human/child trafficking,” Soucek wrote as one of the reasons.

I think that's a big part of a global problem: Alot of US-american turn a blind eye to their president being the most important political figure in the western world. Not because the western world is full of deranged people, but the US is the leading player in global politics. His decisions have huge impact for most american and european countries and a president that signs executive orders on a whim, changes policies on a daily basis is hard to deal with. It's a thing that will haunt parts of the US population later on. While the US is huge and had the ressources for autarchy they gave up alot in the name of neoliberal turbocapitalism. While I wouldn't agree with most thibgs Trump I think it is a positive that he tries to get production back into the US. He's just attacking the wrong countries.
