#1 pick Ayton was 18/12 at 21 - FAR BETTER than young Pip/Grant/BJ that MJ developed

Lebron received 11 players that were already better than Jordan's 1st all-star in 1990, but the "bron-ball" skillset couldn't develop any of the 11 players (shown in the 1st post below).. Luka-ball is similar and couldn't develop guys like Brunson or Porzingas either..

Otoh, off-ball players like Curry, MJ or Duncan developed young players that were nowhere near Ayton's projection, such as like Klay, Poole, Pippen, Grant and BJ.. So they would easily win with a prodigal #1 pick like Ayton as 4th option, since it's the most stacked team in the league, BY FAR - they should easily be the preseason favorite.

However, LeOld is a huge negative, so the 2026 season will be a charade of pretending the Lakers lack help - a massive lie to cover up that Lebron can't win with good rosters anymore, and his skillset has always struggled to win with any roster.. He underachieved at every stop, aka 2/4, 1/4, and 1/6 despite 15 seasons with 6 franchise players, aka the most help ever (Wade. Bosh, Kyrie, Love, AD, Luka).
