It's due to a slow brain.

Some time ago, I watched a video on YouTube of a (fake) 102 year old, who mentioned that he had an 82 year old child. And someone made a comment that it's a blessing to have a parent alive in your 80s. 24 minutes later, the related association with Jasper popped into my head.
