With Jayson Tatum out of the season. The reigning NBA 6th man of the Payton Pritchard is going to have a break out season. I can see him averaging 20-22 ppg as a starter for the Boston Celtics. My favorite role player in the NBA.

He could but that depends in part on what happens with Anfernee Simons (could start could sixth man could get traded). I'm actually expecting Pritchard to get more of a traditional point guard role with a jump in his assists, especially if he gets to start. That's the part of his game that he didn't get to show playing off the bench and often off the ball but he is a complete point guard with vision and handle.

On poor efficiency (42/35/84).

I think he'll be third fiddle behind Jaylen and Derrick White. I could see 16-18 ppg for him.

Behind JB and Simons you mean.

I don't know much about Simons game but I know that the Celtics are shopping him around. Next season White is going to be one of the on-court leaders of the team.

I just know he shoots a lot and White is very unselfish so I can't see White scoring more if they're on the same team both getting big minutes. But if Simons is getting traded it's obviously moot.

I think the Celtics will showcase Simons the first couple of months then look to flip him in December for tax savings.

Pritchard will be the full time starter from there as the tank commander inflating his stats while Brown nurses some mystery injury up until he's shutdown permanently starting from March.
