Playing fullcourt is basically off limits for older guys due to injury risk and inability to run the court fast enough and for sustained periods

But I could still hang with beginners, and again, 1-on-1 (halfcourt) is still the same - unstoppable, even against good players

FWIW, I do agree that the modern game leaves much to be desired. I was watching a video yesterday of Shawn Kemp and Alonzo Mourning battling in the paint. Kemp dunked on Mourning, then Mourning blocked one of his shots, then Kemp dunked on him again, then Zo dropped a few hooks on him, and so on and so forth. Protecting the paint felt so much more 'alive', for lack of a better term, than just watching teams jack up 50 three pointers a game, mostly boiling it down to who's hotter that night. The game felt more intense and deeply personal, whatever one wants to say about the skills of today's players vs yesteryears. They basically pussi-fied it once you could get a tech for staring at someone too long or hanging off the rim. Took all the personality out of the game as well as the players.

Technology killed outdoor play. Probably why guys get hurt more too nowadays. Bodies aren't as strong or robust. Playing all day every day on concrete at early age makes you tougher.

Based on a cursory glance at your videos, you fancy yourself a jumpshooter, except you lack the footwork upon the catch to give you optimal center of gravity/balance to maximize your efficiency... I recommend watching a few clips of John Paxson - he does a perfect 1-2 step upon the catch that they teach in D1 programs.. It's actually quite simple but a lot of guys that skipped college like Lebron don't have it
