Being brutally honest, I've genuinely never understood the amount of attention that gets put towards burning the flag, kneeling during the anthem etc, I just feel like that shit has literally zero impact on anybody's life or well being. If you get truly offended or upset by that imo you're just being overly sensitive or trying to find any reason to be outraged.

But these days people get offended by jean ads and trannies selling beer so that really shouldn't surprise me, people just love to be outraged by inconsequential shit :lol

People losing their shit over the Cracker Barrel logo is a new low I think. I can't even conceive of anything less meaningful than that.

This entire country, BOTH SIDES, needs a full on 10-course lesson in what is actually important in life and what has no impact on their lives at all.

I think burning the flag is disrespectful but being disrespectful isn't against the law. Not if it isn't a reasonable call for violence. And up to a year in prison? Are you kidding?

I know other countries do this but I really don't care, we're not other countries. We have freedom of speech here and we get to say what we want. We aren't obligated to worship the flag at all times against our will. It sets a dangerous precedent. Not a fan of it at all. Of all the things Trump has ever done or proposed, this is by far the dumbest and the worst.

Culture and tradition means nothing at all?

Saying Cracker Barrell is just a restaurant is like saying McDonalds is just a restaurant. These are cultural institutions. People, family and children make memories there.

It wasn't the logo change itself that spurred the response, it was the intent behind the logo change.

The McDonalds and Crack Barrel facet of American culture does mean nothing to me. Or you. And their logos along with the intent behind their logos (which is always just to sell things to you) is an extra big nothing-burger.

You would be doing your self a big favor by not wasting any of your life's time stressing over things of that nature. Stress over the things that actually impact your life. Cracker Barrel's logo isn't one of those things. Hell Cracker Barrels entire existence isn't even meaningful, unless you are a higher up there or something.

Cracker Barrell is a cultural institution if you are a redneck hillbilly from the South.

Cracker Barrel currently has 658 stores in 45 states.

why are so many white people upset? is this like their go-to institution for food?

why aren't they upset at all their school and church shooters? how about they show this same energy towards their own people to stop them from committing horrific acts of violence?

Lol, as bad as this is, it's nowhere close to being the dumbest nor the worst, there's plenty to pick from in that department lol

They died for what the flag represents.

Not for a piece of cloth.
