He's been kinda okay in terms of public relations, not great but okay, and he hasn't had a major fukk up yet that I really cared about. The Epstein thing was window dressing to me heading into the election, I was excited at the prospect but it was never a deal breaker for me. Wasn't even in the top five things I cared about most.

I'm just thankful the FBI is focusing on real, important issues now.

nah, he was a bad pick. i'd be very surprised if trump hangs on to him long term. he's already getting heat for how he handled the CK situation. and quite honestly, the FBI is an agency that sets the benchmark for all other law enforcement agencies around the world. they are like the navy seals of law enforcement. so installing a director with no previous FBI experience was a bad start. i mean - didn't they just create a new "co-deputy director" position to help him out? creating that position alone is basically an admission to patel's shortcomings.
