i considered posting it yesterday, but to be frank, i think we've all got white mass shooter fatigue. it's tiring to read this time and time again.

there's nothing you and I can do but vote, vote for better leaders willing to do something about this. until then, i just hope justice is eventually served.

i think starface made the very wrong assumption once, about us being overloaded with news to the point of not having the bandwidth to process it - it was in a thread about space travel and he claimed the limiting factor to space travel would be mental bandwidth of keeping up with xyz planet, and despite being very naive with that assumption, he was onto something, we have conflict fatigue. nation vs nation, group vs group... republicans vs democrats - ultimately the fatigue comes from the conflict that has plagued man from day 1: the fight for resources and land. with the internet being so readily available, we have news of these conflicts catapulted into our faces throughout the day, it gets tiring and sad.

Should people like this church shooter be banned from owning a gun AND a motor vehicle?
Combination of redflaging everyone with a history of mental illness, on SSRIs, etc and also making EVERYONE take multiple courses before they can obtain gun licenses. Make the sickos use SUVs instead, guy could have taken out 40 with an AR15 instead of an SUV.

Also run lots of buy-back programs. This was extremely effective in Australia where they were able to get thousands of guns off the streets.
