Both Curry's now on the squad and signed Al Horford, plus superstar impact-player Jimmy Butler getting a full season in?

It's a wrap for the league.

It's a very good team. Just a matter of health.

Who defends the team's best player? A 35, 36, or 39 year old? Relying in the playoffs every single night on a 38 year old go-to scorer?

This is post is a hot take. No way you've placed significant money on this as a bet.

I think this was actually a weak attempt at humor by OP.

How in the world do you figure that they're better than the Lakers?

An interesting thought is if Curry can lead a team to a title at 38 years old as the best player.

I think that would seal any doubt that he bested LeBron's career.

Curry has ONE Lebron level ring, which is 2022.

KD cucked Curry in 17/18 and Curry barely beat the Kyrie/Love-less Cavs in 2015.

With that being said, Warriors are winning it all this year.

They aren't far off but they need a good perimeter defender and another rim protector. Butler needs to be preserved for the postseason and Horford gets a lot of load management as well although I don't recall him missing a big chunk of consecutive games due to injury. Thunder and Lakers look better on paper, not sold on Houston but if Reed Sheppard lives up to his draft status they could be better and you can't discount Jokic.

Its all about the grind of the season. In a straight tournament everybody fresh I'd give them great chance. They just have to somehow coast and avoid injury.

lol hell no. Curry already past his prime, he could fall off a cliff at any moment.

:oldlol:

It's simple folks... don't play Butler or Horford till the postseason = 16-0 title sweep.

This. Warriors could get into the playoffs and beat every opponents in front of them just because those opponents mysteriously have injury problems.

When has a team this old won a championship?
Agree that they're a very good team on paper, but Curry, Butler, Green, and Horford are old. A team like OKC, LA, or even Minny for that matter will run them into the ground.
