what a tragedy. i remember early last decade, maybe like 2013? i was listening to an NPR podcast episode about how the IDF would conduct night raids of Palestinians inside Israel's borders. they of course did them at night to cause as much disturbance as possible, and it was completely baseless, there was no warrants or other criminal reason to raid their homes. the IDF has a long history of terrorizing these people and OCT 7 was not the start of it, not even close.
