Lebron23 and 1987_Lakers always make a thread when Bronny scores a basket. So where are they after Friday's preseason game against the Suns.
Bronny James Junior actually made a three-point shot. Doesn't that deserve a thread?
Granted, he went 1-12 from the field......

He has NBA athleticism. I don't think that the player he will become will be worth the 3 or 4 years of development needed that he normally would have gotten in college but he's not truly hopeless he's just not NBA rotation caliber right now. I could see a poor man's Jrue Holiday, GP2 kind of player.
With that said if the NBA comes down on the Clippers over Leonard if they want to set the world in fire they can point at this situation and say it's the Lakers doing the same thing.

I’m being serious when I say this, actually look at GP2’s numbers. Especially pre-injury in 2022. He was not a poor man’s anybody. GP2 was best in the world level at multiple things at once.
Bronny will never in his life even touch his ability.
Bronny will peak at Austin Rivers level.

No they can't because the Lakers actually got something, even if it's shit, in Bronny.
The Clippers and Aspiration literally got nothing. Kawhi got extra money and that's it. He literally signed a no show endorsement job at $48 million that was funded by Ballmer. Bronny is getting that money for the deal he's on and he's providing a service.
How you can think this is the same thing is beyond me, lol. Same sport? Sure, maybe, at best. Same thing? No.

" if they want to set the world in fire they can point at this situation and say it's the Lakers doing the same thing."
To clarify: they are not truly the same thing. But I am saying that if the Clippers just feel like making a stink they can point at the Lakers paying Bronny when he doesn't belong in the NBA (yet) and everyone knows it.

Everyone got it, it's just a nonsensical take. The Lakers signing Bronny is many things but circumventing the salary cap isn't one of them. They're paying him a rookie grade salary which is included in their cap. It certainly isn't a sneaky way of giving the James family more money. LeBron would likely be insulted if it was even suggested that he would need to take such action for a measly 8m over 4 years. That's not even chump change to him.
Bronny is the NBA because LeBron wanted the father/son narrative on his resume to fuel his ego and the Lakers wanted to keep their star player happy. Nothing more, nothing less.

No, you did not get it. To spell things out further: If the NBA rules that the Clippers cheated with Leonard if the Clippers want to make a stink, meaning they are bitter with an axe to grind, they can point at what the Lakers did with James. I am not saying that they have the basis of a lawsuit or something where it's an airtight case. Just that they can "set the world on fire." Get people talking in a way that the League would not enjoy.

Did what exactly? Drafted a college player?
I repeat, we get it. You're just talking nonsense.

Bronny is bigger and more athletic than Jalen Brunson. Why cant he at least be serviceable? Does he have no bag?

Bronny sucks, not even close to an NBA player. He was barely a D-1 college player. Anyone with a couple brain cells knows that Lebron forced Bronny onto the Lakers. It's that simple.

yeah he's stupid enough to think that nepotism is the same thing as blatant cap circumvention. The thing about him and others like him is they're so indescribably confident that they're absolutely right when they are anything but
the only way his comparison would make any sense is if LeBron had demanded that the Lakers draft Bronny in the future before he signed with them for the 2019 season, which I mean hey it's possible but lol I so very doubt it because I'm a rational and logical human

No, you guys are just so stupidly obsessed with me that you ignore that I only phrased it as something the Clippers could say if they wanted to make a stink after they get punished. Went over you guys' heads of course. I'm done.

He just has one flaw. He sucks at getting the ball to go through the hoop. Makes it rough when you play in the pros.
