Obviously logic would indicate this is going to be retirement but that seems too obvious. Why provide any teaser at all if that was the case?

My hunch is that he says he's going to retire in 2027. He's such an egomaniac that announcing that two years prior is very much on brand.

If it is as expected and its to retire this year, I'm glad I bought two Lakers tickets a month ago. One in LA, one in Houston, as the prices will skyrocket.

If it's anything other than the two scenarios like something he's selling or endorsing then there will be a backlash. But surely he's not that dumb to make the same mistake again.

Left field suggestion? He announces that Las Vegas will have a team from xxxx and he's the co-owner but that doesnt really fit with a "decision", nor do I think the NBA would allow him to announce that.

I knew it wasn't a retirement announcement. it's too on the nose, and Lebron is well aware of the public reception concerning the original 'Decision' back in 2010.
