I could give you the reason I’m bored enough to do this but it would only drag you down with me so I’ll skip the usual explanation of why it has come to this and simply proceed….

The first 3 songs from the playlist I happen to be playing when this nonsense came to me…playlist called “Boom bap” for reasons(not having to do with it actually being “boom bap” hip hop) that wouldn’t interest you to hear. I feel like these playlist will fall largely within certain eras and I’m interested which will produce the best basketball being played on the dates of release.

Tribe gets me November 9, 1993 which leaves me with two good options to watch. I could’ve been watching Young Shaq give the Pacers 37 or watch David Robinson and Dennis Rodman go crazy on a bum ass Minnesota team led by Christian Laettner.

The Rockets/Lakers game is interesting on paper but Kobe went 6-17 for 19 points and Harden had 32 on 7-17 so…I’m good. I’d watch that Mavs/Spurs game even if it was the weird Monta Ellis run.

Actually that playlist was born years ago when I had a bunch of people working under me overnight in a warehouse and I’d let them play music once I was the last boss left in the building. Those are songs largely from the playlist they added to on the Spotify on the computer I set to play music overhead. Couldn’t play from a cell phone through the whole building so I did it on a desktop in the back and let them play whatever they wanted on it and as time passed I added similar songs to it.



A good portion is from a fat kid from Kentucky who loved Kevin Gates.

The next list is (affectionately) known as “White man” because one of the same people referred to it as “That ol white man music”.

I suspect it will skew much much older as I don’t listen to much(if any) modern “white man” music.
