"I'm appalled President Trump, who campaigned on how he loved farmers, is putting America's farmers out of business by helping Argentina farmers first," said John Boyd, a cattle and crop farmer and founder of the National Black Farmers Association.

The farmers are ****ing idiots. He gave them a smaller taste of his tariff warfare in his first term and it gave them a temporary hit on soybean sales to China that still required a multi-billion dollar bailout. In spite of him hitting them they all still supported him in the last election and now they can't sell the soybeans again (shocking) they have had a significant part of their workforce either deported or scared to show up for fear of deportation (shocking) and as a result the situation is dire for many of them. I do have sympathy for many victims of the Trump policies but these farmers people that he ha hurt before in the same ways and yet chose to support him thinking...I really don't know what they were thinking beyond them just being a bunch of white nationalist ****wits. Because you can hate the policies in this case as much as you want but he said he was going to do this shit. Everyone knew what was coming. Well ok, we didn't foresee him going to Australia to cover up the mess his tariffs have made with China but we knew that he was and is set to **** with trade relations

They were thinking "omg I saw a Mexican person at the grocery store!" which is obviously more important than thier overall well being.

Employing illegal immigrants to farm soybeans for export almost sounds like something that should be illegal, the land could be used much better.

Now that you've got your deflecting out of the way..wouldn't you agree that this is a poor decision for this sector of Americans and deserves scrutiny?

I haven't bothered to even look it into it. I never said Trump was perfect. There is plenty to pick apart.
Trump is not above scrutiny but it means nothing coming from someone like OTC who hates him with every fiber of his being and wouldn't have given him credit for doing things right in the first place. Hence the sarcastic response from yours truly.
Most people on the right, even if they aren't fully thrilled with 100% of Trump's policies, are never ever going to vote for a woke democrat so it doesn't matter. When you're up by five touchdowns you have room for error.

The democrats lost the 2024 election in blowout fashion. They didn't flip a single county in the entire United States while the republicans flipped 54. The republicans also won every single swing state.
The democrats are splintered right now into several factions. They can't even agree on what it means to be a man or a woman and whether or not it makes sense to let men play in female sports. :oldlol: Some argue it was the single biggest reason Kamala lost.
Yes, they're five touchdowns behind.

USDA is reopening some 2,100 offices to help farmers access $3B in aid despite the ongoing shutdown
The USDA said each Farm Service Agency office will have two workers who will be paid even though the government remains shutdown. These offices help farmers apply for farm loans, crop insurance, disaster aid and other programs. Thousands of other federal employees like air traffic controllers are working without pay during the shutdown.
A USDA spokesperson said this move reflects President Trump’s commitment to helping farmers and ranchers, who are traditionally some of his strongest supporters. Recently, some of them have been unhappy with Trump’s latest moves although his support remains strong across rural America.
"President Trump will not let the radical left Democrat shutdown impact critical USDA services while harvest is underway across the country,” the USDA spokesman said.

When did Republicans start thinking that a government handout is a fine substitute for profitable business? This new wave MAGA socialism is fascinating.

trump is gonna find out that ranchers have long memories. some of them keep alive decades long fights with neighbors over water and grazing rights.
\they will remember trump giving 40 BILLION to argentina who stole america's primary soybean purchaser (china) and trump flooding the american market with Argentinian beef. good luck not losing the midwest. https://www.thecoli.com/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/mjlol.png
