Are talking straight basketball with an utter disregard for casual fans or hot takes. They sound like three players just talking about the game in front of them. I imagine someone would consider it boring, but it sounds almost like the old CBS chalk talk coaching segments.

I wouldn’t say anyone on that set except Haslem could have a future at ESPN because they are straight serious but it’s refreshing right now. It’s not what I expected from Blake with him being an actual stand-up comedian now

They could do troll takes if they wanted to. Trolling is easy. More likely the studio made the decision not to be intentionally stupid.

Good choice, there's more than enough trolling/hot take shows both in major media as well as some of these numbers media outlets.

Reminds me of Chris Simms who talks NFL, who also works for NBC.

This tells me NBC values real discussions and breakdowns of sports. Good stuff.

Definitely a lackluster effort for someone who's supposed to be the face of his team.
