Down 1, 8 seconds on the clock I would much rather go to Olajuwon than Malone.

What does based on skill set mean? I don't understand.
Explain it to me in the context of Curry, Dirk and Malone being better than Baylor and Wilt.

What a weird list. No Wilt on it, who's second only to Jordan? And Jokic, who's never even won a scoring title as #3? And Lebron ahead of Shaq? Really?

Replace Karl & Dirk with Gervin & Harden.
Wilt has to be on the list too, not nearly as skilled as someone like Kareem, but he still produced.

Is this like who do you go to when you absolutely need at bucket? If so yea MJ is still #1 and KD, Bird, Dirk, and Kobe would probably round out top 5.

Jokic over Bird and Kobe easy man. Are you serious? Jokic is extremely clutch and is an elite scorer from every single spot on the floor.

Jokic has the highest TS% of all time and he legit is factually elite at scoring on all parts of the floor. The stats factually show this and the eye test is obvious.

I'll take Wilt would and could under most any context outscore all of them for 400
While he's far from being invincible, joker does stand out as a scorer nowadays due to his versatility.

Do you know nothing about Larry Bird? I mean I wasn't alive in the 80s either but I've watched a ton of Celtics games from that time and generally have done my research.
Bird was automatic in the clutch.

Lol, huh? Did we watch the same playoffs last year? :oldlol:
If you body Joker away from the basket where he can't just back you down, he's extremely limited in what he can do. He's too slow and too awkward and can't beat his man off the dribble. Alex Caruso all but locked his ass up and forced him to pass out of those spots. It's why the team played through Murray in those situations and not Joker. They RELY on that two man game because Joker isn't the automatic bucket you think he is.
He's not even in the same discussion as Bird. Bird could face you up and get a clean shot off anytime he wanted.

I really don't know what to make out of the criteria for this list so Im not gonna fuss over the names or the order, except to say I'd take Barkley ove Malone peak for peak as a scorer. Which is not to say Barkley should be slotted into the 10th spot, but for me hes ahead of Malone however this is being measured. And, I was acutely tuned into the NBA in 94 and 95. I saw Hakeem's run and yeah....I feel like he warrants a mention here.

Remove both Jokic and Shaq from this list.
If this is about scoring skill-set, neither ranked in that regard. Both used their weight to knock their defender out of the way and get an open look. That is not skill.
If you look strictly based on performance, and not skill-set, they can be included.

It's based on both.
Jokic is one of the best shooters of all time and one of the best post players of all time. He is elite everywhere, basically a bigger version of Larry Bird...so of course Jokic is on here.
Jokic is at like 28ppg on 61 TS% for his playoff career, which is almost 100 games deep.
