Highlighted by these games:

Patriots/Jets

Chargers/Bears

Cowboys/Giants

Bengals/Ravens

Thomas Jones expected to play. Samual from NE is ready. Moss is playing. I'll probably watch that game exclusively. Bears/Chargers game after that.

I've missed football sundays. I won't lie.

Marshawn Lynch will be a very good player. He's running through the Denver D by himself.

Carbine

The Eagles really need to get their offense goin.

They look like they did at the beginning of last year, just McNabb isn't quite as hot. Hopefully they can step it up like they did last year too. Too bad last year they only stepped it up after McNabb went down.

What's Brett Favre's excuse?
He doesn't need an excuse; he's Brett Farve.

Farve is the only QB in history to have people routinely over-look the MANY stupid passes he attempts. I get that he had one of the strongest arms in league history but I never understood why he's so far above criticism.

Los Angeles
09-09-2007, 02:26 PM
I'm mainly watching the Carolina game and it's 10-7 St.Louis because Kasay missed a FG. Overall a horrendous offensive outing from this team, Foster did his job but Delhomme is a bum, I give him the benefit of the doubt all the time and he gets his grove back for like 2 plays and then comes back with his usual tactics. Maybe I should stop living in the past, I'm starting to think he's a 1 year wonder...prove me wrong Jake, you have Steve Smith and he only has 19 yards?? Very poor performance by Jake Delhomme...51 passing yards is not going to get it done!

GOBB
09-09-2007, 02:30 PM

108yds!!! Missed tackle helped that! Hobbs was the dude Tomilson was gonna beat up after the playoff game last year.

Reggie Brown is being covered by Charles Woodson. Eagles attacking other CBs. Al Harris is injured...cant bend his right arm even tho he is playing with a soft cast on it. GB D is no joke...really good. Nick Barnett/AJ Hawk? And the DL gets pressure.

100 touchdowns in 6 seasons should be more then enough...his ability to receive, run and pass the ball makes him a prolific weapon in any play offensively.

Because he can do more things than Manning? Sorry that doesn't cut it.

Uhmm, that makes no sense...what makes Manning better then?
Because he has all world receivers, one of the best offensive lines and is a one dimensional QB, who's the ultimate number player...and before last year was known as the ultimate choker.

Sorry, to me he isn't even the best QB in the game...just look at what Tom Brady did today with an all world receiver who wasn't even in the talks for the past few years. Now image what he could do with Harrison & Wayne, probably win a few more championships.

I agree that Peyton is the best player in the world, but I don't think the gap is that big as you would think. Tomilson can run, catch, block and he can even throw when needed. His threat opens up the game for other players (espicially Antonio Gates) and the play action pass is money.

Not to mention that Tomilson has been great regardless. Whether his TE was Freddie Jones or his QB was Doug Flutie or Drew Brees, he always performs.

And while I love Peyton and loved how he shut up all the ******, he always seems to have great players around him, as well as a great line. We still have yet to see him perform with a less of stellar team.

It's debatable.

I disagree, I don't think we should praise Manning that high when he had so many tools to win championship all those years and failed to do so.

Just because he finally got the job done, doesn't make him the clear cut #1. Carbine and others might pick Manning as their #1, and that's fine...you're entitled to your opinion, certainly not a "crazy" one by any stretch...but to me Tomlinson is the clear cut best player in the world.

It's funny that you credit Tomlinson for his 100TDs in six seasons but discredit Manning for being a numbers guy. It's not hard to tell you are someone not really worth arguing with.

But I will just for the hope that I can put an ounc of logic in your brain.

Peyton Manning is a QB. Tomlinson is a RB. Peyton Manning DICTATES what plays are called, he executes the plays that are called, he manages the game, do I need to say more?

Tom Brady tore it up today no doubt. I watched the game. But that was against the pitifil Jets. Their corners suck. Tom Brady BARELY got breathed on today. You think a number of quarterbacks couldn't throw up some big numbers in THAT situation against the Jets today? Think again.

Look, Tomlinson is the best running back in football. Nobody said otherwise, but to think that Tomlinson IMPACTS an offense the way Peyton Manning (or arguably Tom Brady) is downright laughable almost.

GOBB

Giants secondary is ripe for the picking. Even tho T.Glenn isnt playing and that hurts Dallas...you got TO, Crayton, Witten. What Dallas doesnt have is a recieving threat out the backfield.

Only way i would take NYG is if i buy the trend that is 12-3 NYG ATS.

Still havent decided what to bet on using my winnings from today. That sad you dont have a clue about the game clown. I've exposed that many times on this board.

This is what makes LT so damn good, allgame Bears seemingly have him under control, then suddenly he breaks out for a TD pass and a TD, and now the Chargers have this under control at 14-3.

Giants have more threats then Dallas.

Shockey, Plaxico, Toomer, Steve Smith, Sinorice Moss and Anthony Mix. You'll find out who Mix is this year.

Jacobs will do a damn good job and Droughins is our new fullback, your dumbass probably wouldn't know that.

They might play without Terrance Newman so it looks like Plax is going to have a field day.

Do you just realize you lost to Green Bay?? Giants are going to tear their ass up next week.

Your a clown dude.

Losing Terry Glenn is big to, Eli is going to get it done this year. He'll be the reason Philly might miss the playoffs.

You think a number of quarterbacks couldn't throw up some big numbers in THAT situation against the Jets today?

 @ this biased Colts fan, wow I need to stop talking to you because I'm getting upset at the stupidity you're putting on the table.

Manning doesn't get similar protection in Indianapolis? Ok there Mr. Homer.

Nobody said otherwise, but to think that Tomlinson IMPACTS an offense the way Peyton Manning (or arguably Tom Brady) is downright laughable almost.

The only thing that's downright laughable is how bias can taint your knowledge of the game.

Tomlinson scored 100 touchdowns in 6 years running the ball, if Manning as a QB had a much "larger" impact on the game as you claim, then you should print "Idiot" on your forehead...because seriously these few posts are some of the most idiotic crap I have ever read in my life.

You act like being labeled a QB automatically makes you the better player then any other position, which is flawed logic.

I'm done talking to you about Manning, and Tomlinson just scored another rushing TD...14-3 SD. :D

Give it up guys, Peyton or LT its close either way. Really just depends on what aspects of the game you focus on the most, and what your teams specific needs are.

It has to be infuriating if you're the Bears defense. Doing a hell of a job all day and still going to lose because you've got the worst quarterback in the NFL. Bears have 2nd and short and then turn it over on downs.:oldlol: What a woeful offense.

Top 3 Teams

1. New England
2. San Diego
3. Indianapolis

Do you guys agree?

Holy shyt, Oakland is winning.

Man, if SD, Carolina, SF and Oakland all win this will be the best day in my life, football wise. Can't wait to watch Gore.

Damn Tomlinson just got tackled hard.

I don't think I've ever seen Peyton get the kind of protection Brady got today. Brady got HIT once I think. That was it.

You lack a clue about the game. Evidence? Look no further as you stating that Tomlinson is the CLEAR CUT best/most impactful player in the world. And you call me a homer...

And it's pretty stupid that all you can do it call me an idiot, say I'm a homer, basically just throw out insults about me instead of arguing the facts I posted.

Let me guess...you're going to call me a mental patient next? A guy who lacks a clue? Which one will it be? Because it's apparent you have no football knowledge to argue with aside from numbers/stats.
