I'm gonna go out on a limb and make a guarantee. I can, without a doubt say that he'll have a better season than Oden!

Sounds bout right, I think he'll actually score a bit more, like 23.3 or so. He'll have the green light this year.

Oh yeah there is no doubt he'll get his shots. He is also very good at getting to the free throw line when his jumper isn't falling so he should be consistent.

19, 6, 4.

Portland will regret the day selecting Greg Oden aka Sam Bowie v2.0 ahead of KD!

He'll also have a better career than Odone.

Heck, Michael Olowakandi might have a better career than Sam Bowie v2.0

He's going to show Portland just how silly they were for drafting Oden.

MJ VS Sam Bowie, Round 2!

I mean, why won't Durant score a bunch of points? Seattle is bad, and Durant is their future. Let him take shots all day long, I say!

I don't think Durant is nice. He is too skinny, he's like Rip Hamilton.

There are a lot of Oden haters that have already written him out as a bust before he even started his NBA career. This is a blessing in disquise for the Blazers. A possible front court of Beasley, Aldridge and Oden would be sick.

Rip has not had injury problems in his career. KG was skinnier than Durant when he entered the league and he had to play PF! Durant is a swingman.

17/6/4 with 1.4 steals and .9 blocks. 43.7% FG, 39.1% 3PT and 2.9 turnovers per.

His shooting percentage will be pretty low due to being the main option and defenses focusing on him, but he will still put up a solid 17 points per outing and grab 6 rebounds or so.

LOL. I just laughed my ass off after you pointed out that "go out on a limb" phrase. I didn't really think about it when I read it earlier.

i say 17 and 5, 45% FG, 33% 3pt..

reason why i am predicting a bit lower than most of you on pts is i believe that he will hit the freshman wall mid-way through the season...

he isn't a dominating player, so it's easy to say that at some point past the 40-45 games during the season, he will go on a streak where he struggles in shooting..and fatigue will definitely be a factor..

i don't see durant being that athletic type player, he isn't strong enough yet to go through an entire season playing 35-40 minutes a game..

don't get me wrong, he has a nice game, i just think he will struggle at some point, and that will bring down his FG% and pts. avg.
