Nowadays women seem to think that they don't need to cook. WTF MATE. Fast food is good but I need myself a Rachel Ray.
So where should I go to find women that cook...and for you married folks...do your wives cook on a consistent basis?

both my wife and I cook, but I have a fairly strong background in fine dining so I tend to cook more than she does. To be fair, she grows a lot of the plant items we eat so it wirks out (plus I really enjoy the creativity of cooking). A lot of children aren't expected to helop cook anymore, and so they never develop the skill set (or do later in life). We have devalued food to the point where people would rather buy some premade bull**** at a deli counter (or takeout or frozen or whatever) even though its generally much worse for you and not nearly as tasty. Try meeting women in a supermarket. Look for the ones with bulk grains/beans, fresh produce in their cart and steer clear of the *****es with boxed dinners in their cart. If shes got a beef roast in the cart, you know shes a winner.

Both men and women need to know how to cook.
And by cooking, I mean actual cooking, not just throwing something into the microwave.

North American women rarely cook, nothing really changed. My girl is Latino and she never cooks...it's always fast food or dinner at a restaurant for us...or I make some french toast, canned soup and my burned fries for dinner.
Neither of us cook, so I tend to go bug my mom to fix me something when I'm really desperate.

I hope you dont mean on a historical trajectory cause things have certainly changed. Think about how long fast food, tv dinners (the name gives it away), hell even refridgeration have been around. Most women in the US not only cooked, but had a garden and canned vegetables for the winter.

It's true in today's world. Cooking skills have a very low priority in our modern society. This is unfortunate, because it's a major reason why we are significantly more overweight than just a couple decades ago. It's too easy to just order takeout or throw some frozen food in the microwave than to buy fresh ingredients and prepare from scratch.

Most people don't have the time at the end of a long workday to cook a nutritious meal. That, or their too tired/lazy

I gotta learn how to cook...especially if I am going to be living in an apartment next summer for an internship. I can cook spaghetti and chicken fingers but that's pretty much it.
I am going to get my mom/dad to teach me.

This is why you marry a Mexican...
preferably one that was born and raised in Mexico.
my wife can cook her butt off but cleaning it up is the problem.

My wife's specialty is baking, her cornbread is the bomb. But I'm generally the better cooker, mainly because I was raised by a single mom and I'm the oldest, so I had to learn how to cook for myself while she was at work. She's the youngest and Mom always cooked, so she picked up some things. Nowadays I do all the cooking because she's pregnant and she gets real tired during the day. Plus, I have the energy for it, and I like trying new recipes and stuff. I'm going to teach our son to cook too.

you don't cook, you don't clean, or press my jeans
You don't scrub or wash clothes
Or buy food for making (???), b*tch
You don't read to the seeds
All you do is watch tv and smoke weed
Get your nails done and feet, scrub the hairweave
Sleep all day, eat, gain weight, can't breathe
Talking about you're going to leave?
Then b*tch leave! What the f*ck you're waiting for?
Hit the door, I ain't taking this $hit no more!
Spending all my cream on Gucci, Phillies and Coach
Before you moved to my lab, b*tch, I ain't never seen a roach
Stains on my carpet, bathroom's more like a fish market
Take all the space in my closet, where the f*ck's your logic?

Well from my experience, not they don't cook anymore.
I have been living with my girlfriend for 8 months and she hasn't made me anything more than coffee in that time. I'm fine with it, I like preparing my own food, but it wouldn't kill her to bake me some bread or cook up some chicken once in a while.

Confront her.
Tell her there are a lot more fish in the ocean. I think she will like the analogy.

Cooking is important. You don't have to be a gormet chef, just the basics. What do you do if your woman leaves you or your parents pass away(hopefully that doesn't happen, but it did to my friend).
My girl is making it obvious that she isn't interested in cooking any time soon, and I'm taking serious procaution with this because it's serious shit. I need to learn to cook myself but as I got older I find it unattractive for girls not knowing to cook versus girls that do. It's actually a turn on.

My girl was like this too...and honestly just like everything else in life it is a habit. Most of these girls haven't grown up learning how to cook. They didn't have anyone teach them. So, for them it's a lot of effort and not fun.
I straight up told my girlfriend you need to start making me food. We can't be eating out for every meal.
She started with stuff she knew...like french toast, and chicken soup and now she makes all sorts of stuff. Girls (and guys) think cooking is fun and relaxing once they have the basics down. People like to see other people enjoy eating what they've made.
Nowadays, usually she cooks up some food and I'll do the dishes. Works for both of us because I actually am a clean freak so it's relaxing for me to get everything all cleaned up before bed.
