Two things:

Pettit was mainly a PF, and no love for Mo Stokes?

you could choose pettit at center or power forward. he was chosen at center because his best years were played there. props for mentioning stokes, but the minimum for an all decade team is 4 full years. man i would love to ask jack twyman who he thought was the better player between maurice stokes and oscar robertson(because he was a teammate of both), two of the greatest all-round players in the history of the game

Mikan's impact was amazing on the game, one of the most influential ever.

But Pettit was by far the best player.

In fact he was by far the GOAT untill Wilt came along.

Still underated as f#ck due to the era he played in.

Real talk.

I think force of Mikan on the court ignoring by everyone else other than me :D .

Fulks played with over 20 points in the finals/playoffs and he was mvp of the BAA while Mikan was playing in the NBL . And Mikan became in the BAA with over 30 points and dominating the boards and with great rim protection . Everbody ignoring Mikan , with 24 seconds and for played in the early 50's , but Arizin was superstar in the Mikan era . And he became a champion with amazing finals performances before year that Russell drafted . Mikan played from his 22 to 29 . That was a great longevity when comparing the other 40's , early 50's legends . Of course , with technology and health , lower life quality . Player cannot play until their 35 back in the 50's . Mikan played his goat level game along with 8 years , 47 to 54 . And two injured , so-so years .

And Pettit played half of his career in the 60's . Cousy better for 50's too , to me .
