This is where we talk about whatever.

I know we have plenty of guys here that like to talk about anything off the court, so let's get this thread full.

Yep, now we have one of our own... hopefully this will keep some more of the traffic flowing through here.

Guys this is where we talk about any and everything we want, even if it's not Pacers related. Doesn't even have to be basketball related. We're gonna have fun here. jbot, sticky this.

My God, I'm practically pissing my pants with glee. We have just become the #2 board on ISH, easily. What should be the first topic? Current taste in females? Favorite non-NBA team? Pick something, anybody!

She looks like a kitty to me. She's hot, and obviously if she came to my house and asked to play, I wouldn't say no, just as long as the parents were out.

And a McFlurry. Can't have a burger without a McFlurry. And they only serve McFlurries at Micky D's.

Ah, let the Great BK/Micky D's debate begin. When people ask what we talk about in our forum, this will surely come to mind, hopefully.

What do you think about Doomsday's Conspiracy Theories? I think his mommy read him one too many detective stories as a boy. And I think he has about 10 different accounts, all linked with Dallas, the Cowboys, or that Jordan 45 one. I mean, come on, the Cowboys are good, but it's not like this is the mecca of cowboy fans. This isn't even an NFL forum.

there's a scene right after they meet the tinman and encounter the wicked witch for the 1st time. towards the end of this scene, there's a part that people have mistaken for a midget hanging himself swinging from the rope in the background. it's really a stork flapping it's wings back in the distance.

So whats up?

Well, I woke up about an hour ago, sweating. I had this strange dream in which I decided to run away for two days. My mom and dad said it was okay, but they didn't give me any money. I only had 8 quarters and a blanket. I had a sled to pull myself along, for some reason. I was scared of going into the forest, however, because the wolves are prevalent in those areas, so I asked my mom for money to stay in a motel. She said no, so I stayed in my room for a while. Then I remembered a real-life incident when me and my friend Thomas tried riding our bikes to the nearby town of Schleschwig. It took us 1:30 to get 4 miles, and we still had 11 miles to go. He said he had to be home in 45 minutes. I just wanted to kill that little bastard. Anyway, I decided to try riding to Schleschwig on my bike and get food at a gas station. Then I woke up.

I hate it when I wake up right when things are about to get good.

Umm.....I like the Browns!

J/k. I want the Colts to win it again, but I've got the feeling Tommy makes it. I have this little idea that God wants to do something really cool this year. Peyton's not even part of that plan. Pats will get to Super Bowl, and then he'll let Dallas win and make Doomsday give up his password, or he'll let Favre get in and whoop Tommy B.

Bye, catz. You'll be missed here. To tell you the truth, I don't think I'll be posting as regularly in the Pacers forum as normal, either. It's just not the same without catzhernandez. I'll pop in like I've been doing in the past few days, and if I see one of the games I'll probably be posting here as well, but not as regularly as me/marny did in the catz era.

It's okay, we've still got MySpace. No biggy, this is just one board. I'm going to post some at SpursReport.com anyway. ISH'll be my main board, but if I find you on another board some time, I'll pop in and say hey.

Random thoughts was a pretty good idea, and I remember "All That", I spent countless afternoons with my mom sleeping on the couch, living room lit by nothing but the outside sun, and a coloring book with broken crayons and a bowl of Blues Clues Mac N Cheese in front of the TV watching cartoons until she finally woke up, "All That" usually being the last show on.

What year was this? There were many different casts of All That. I'm talking original AT, from the years '95-'97 or so. It was okay until about 1999, then a bunch of nerdie ass kids started joining, I was getting older, then it just went completely downhill before finally going off the air in like 2004... That's where Kenan and Kel started.

yesterday i tried a little experiment in which i cut some serranos in half, marinated and grilled them. my theory was that if they're too hot to eat straight up, after processing they may go down smoother. you know, similar to how pickling peppers (like jalapenjos) makes them much milder?

well, i was mostly wrong. i guess the only way to use these things is to puree them and add them to a sauce.

still, i'm willing to try anything involving the grill. :D

bonus discovery: i just started using smoke sauce and it's about 100x more effective than using chips. woot!

catzhernandez

gigantes
05-14-2008, 03:09 PM
shish kebob is alright, or i have a flat metal basket with a top that holds lots of small items. when you want to turn the food, you just turn the entire basket.

so grilled food gives you heartburn, catz?

anybody else here play poker?

i just finished a 27-person tourney in fourth place. that won me 2.5x my investment. i usually place in the money, but a single bad day recently of getting owned in multiple tourneys wiped out my bankroll entirely. so now i'm trying to rebuild it.

plus, i had given away a lot to friends so they could play in the highest-level sit-n-go's with me. they wound up losing it all every time. :(

catzhernandez
05-14-2008, 11:54 PM
Dude, nice. I play poker all the time.

Since I look older, I actually play at a few bars that we have in town, there's a few poker leagues. Of course I'm always up for a good home game, but lately most of my friends have been broke-asses.

But a couple of years ago, before it got shut down, we had this poker club in twon, where you only had to be 18. Buy-ins on Saturday would usually be 5-10 bucks, with 10-dollar rebuys, unlimited until the first brake. There was like 4 or 5 times I walked in there, spent 5-10 bucks and walked out with 250+. It was pretty sick. That place used to get like 100 players on a given night, so I fought my way through quite a few guys.

But I can't wait til I turn 21, I like to believe I'm a very good player, don't we all... :D But I've picked up on a lot of understandings of the game, I just get it. Hopefully you see me in Vegas winning some big bucks one day.

catzhernandez
05-15-2008, 12:52 AM
Hells yes mayne. :oldlol: To further prove that point, all I listened to for the last few years was mostly 60s music, with some 70s mixed in. I'm into punk rock/psychobilly now, but I guess it's just phases. I just like the archives, baby. Not much of a fan of hardly ANYTHING new.

I fell in love with SNL when I was like 4 or 5, I remember growing up on that, I could hardly ever stay awake, and I remember getting older and recording a it every week.

Since then. I've dug all over the internet, and have proabably 8 DVDs on some of the all-time greats like John Belushi, Eddie Murphy, Dan Aykroyd, and Bill Murray.

catzhernandez

No, I didn't mean it like that...

I fell in love with the 90s cast, and then I got a little older, and fell in love with the old-timers when I was actually able to do some research and rewatch some of the alltime classic episodes on my own.
