They were arguably the 2 of the greatest cartoons in the 1990's. I am really happy that I can watch them again on youtube. My Favorite Episode was when Cable time travelled back to the Present to combat the ongoing plague that were killed the mutants in 3999 AD.

I just found out almost 2 yrs. ago that Cable aka Nathan Christopher Summers is the biological son of Cyclops and the Clone of Jean Grey. He was sent into the future because he was predicted as the Messiah that would destroyed Apocalypse in the future.

This is one of the most memorable episode in the X-Men Series. I was hoping that they would bring back this show in the Cartoon Network.

The Spider man Animated series is my 2nd favorite cartoons in the 1990's because it showed the history of Peter Parker before he was spiderman. I love the episode were Captain America was sent back in the present timeline after being trap into the vortex. He helped Spiderman to combat my favorite classic villains of all time the Red Skull, and the Sinister Six.

Juggernaut is one of the strongest villain of all time, and i read a story that he would become a member of the X-Men in some alternate storyline.

X-Men is my favorite show of all time behind Simpsons. I was glued to that show back in elementary school. If it comes out on DVD (which it better one day) I don't care if its $100 i'm buying it

That Spiderman cartoon on FOX is one of my all-time favourites. It wasn't stupidly hokey like the REALLY old one and actually had some drama and real excitement to it. Shame they stopped doing it before they tied up some of the stories.

I am a big fan of the Marvel Comics/Cartoons in the 1990's, and I hope that they can bring back this show back on primetime TV.

they are not releasing any of these x-men or spiderman cartoons because disney owns half of the production while some other company (not marvel) owns the rights to the other half.

Batman the Animated Series is much better than Batman Beyond because of the fact that Bruce Wayne's Childhood is much interesting compare to his successor Terry Mcginnis ( Bruce Wayne's Biological son because of the Project Caldmus to clone another Batman that would save Gotham City)

Yeah it truly sucks, we cant even get a a decent dvd collection for a season.

They are currently making both a new Spiderman and X-men cartoon, both I believe will be on the WB. Spiderman sooner then X-Men.

And Batman:The Animated series and the JLA series that follow, are the best cartoons ever made. Great stuff. I even enjoyed Batman Beyond. Got them all on DVD for my kids to watch too.

I could never get into Fox's Spiderman cartoon, mostly because it ran weekday afternoons before I got home from school (where I live). X-Men was good, but I always though that Fox's Batman: The Animated Series (before it moved to The WB) was one of the best aminated series I've seen. Imagine if this series was created more for a mature audience...it would probably would been even better.

To be more clear, I should have said that it should have been more of an adult cartoon, as opposed to it being geared towards kids. But, I do agree that some of the storylines wasn't always suitable for kids.

I'd still argue that it wasn't geared towards kids, Dini and Timm set out to just tell good stories and the storylines are far more mature than any of the movies.

These art styles remind me of my favorite video game Era of all time:

Capcom’s Versus series:

1996: X-Men vs. Street Fighter (sega Saturn has best version)
1997: Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter (Saturn again)
1998: Marvel vs. Capcom (Sega Dreamcast/PS3 best versions)
2000: Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (Dreamcast/PS3 best versions)

I sincerely hope with Disney buying FOX, that X-Men return to well made Capcom fighting games, or at absolute least for them to re-release a bundle featuring these four classics, and maybe even their non-versus ancestors:

1994: X-Men: Children of the Atom
1995: Marvel Super Heroes

X-Men, IMHO, is the best Marvel series ever, with the coolest characters. Shame the Gambit film got cancelled.
