Akinator, the genie that reads your mind

Hey guys!
Maybe I'm a little out of topic, but I wanted to share a website with you. It's not totally basket-dedicated, but it is related in a way. It is called Akinator (google it or go to http://www.akinator.com/aki_en/index.html#). Basically it's an AI that guesses (or tries to) the character you're thinking about. It's pretty amazing! I tried with different players and he guessed some. It is originally a French game, so it should prove easy to trick him with NBA players. Even if he does not find, the nice thing is that you can add your characters and pictures. It is fun to play a few games. Even funnier with friends. It quickly becomes addictive!

This brings back memories. I remember doing a game like this years ago, I used to spend hours trying to catch it out, to no avail. Nice find man. Maybe it would get more views if you posted it in the off the court lounge next time. :D

That thing is hit or miss. Not only did it get the character wrong, but it also got the gender wrong even though I said it was female. He got the second one, though - Buster Keaton.

Nice! Tried it with Sonic the Hedgehog, Link, and Pikachu and it got all 3. :bowdown:

it got my first two - Aladdin and The Rock, but missed on Eric Forman from the 70s show...

It gets the well known basketball players like KG, T-Mac, Kobe etc.

But it didn't guess Jason Richardson :)

I tried Pau Gasol, and I thought it would get it when it asked if he was German or not, but it still came out with Dirk :hammerhead:
