The Once and Future Thing, Part 2: Time Warped ( Justice League)



Batman, Green Lantern, and Wonder Woman's pursuit of Chronos takes them to the future Gotham City of Batman Beyond, just in time to face a battle with a group of Jokerz beside that era's Justice League. The time travelers are taken to the JLU's refuge. An older Bruce Wayne reveals the street gang they fought together was enhanced by Chronos who lead them to kill the rest of the League of that era. The combined heroes defeat the retooled Jokerz, and Batman traps Chronos in a time loop, right before he started his first time travel. This episode contains references to Crisis on Infinite Earths. The second time in the DCAU in which Hal Jordan appears as Green Lantern.

Terry Mcginnis ( Batman Beyond) would die in this episode after being electrocuted by the Deedee's. Chronos supplied them with weapons that would make them very unstoppable in the alternate future timeline.

Perchance on Dream - Bruce Wayne was trapped into the Mad Hater's Dream Land.

In this Episode Bruce Wayne's parents are still alive. He's confused because he was not a Crime Detective in this Alternate Universe because Batman was a different entity.

In the End he fights Batman, and It was revealed that he was under the control of the Mad Hater.

The Bell Tower Scene reminds me of the infamous Scene from the Movie Vertigo of Sir Alfred Hitchcock.

Great thread, I totally agree about the gray Ghost episode, it's a favorite of mine.

You can still watch some of the episodes on youtube. By the way the DC animated movies are also good. Under the redhood, Justice League Flashpoint Paradox, Son of Batman, and Batman vs. Robin are quality movies.

Great choices. Kid's Stuff and Doomsday Sanction are also favorites of mine. Batman intercepting a Kryptonite laced nuke meant for Superman has to be one of the most alpha things he has done in the animated universe.

The first 5 episodes Superman the Animated series are about as good as it gets for me.
I think every Superman fan liked that show. Also 54 episodes is a good enough run to explore his universe while not having the show drag on too long.
