Spurs a dirty team?

Alright, before all the flames and what not start up, let me explain what I am doing. I have a presentation for a class and it is of the persuasive nature. My university is full of people from all over Texas so I think this would be a good subject.

I just need your guy's help on gathering up some of the main incidents and complaints from around the league of them being dirty. I don't believe I will need help with the Bowen incidents since they are plentiful, but for the other guys or the team as a whole, I could use some help. It is only going to be a 5 minute presentation so I shouldn't need all that much.

I guess you could do a section on Manu's flops, particularly he flopped and fell back into Dirk's knee once and did the same to Barbosa, causing both players to miss significant time.

But yea, you're likely going to be focusing mostly on Bowen.

You could also find the quote Pop had about Bowen where he said Bowen should NOT change his game, regardless of what Stu JAckson says, which came out around the time he ankle assassined Crawford and Francis in consecutive games.

Also while you're talking about Bowen, make it a point to mention the main people he has beef with, are otherwise model citizens and Sportsmenship Awards winners (Finley and Ray Allen both). It obviously gives the impression, wow he must be really dirty then to piss them off.

Oberto just flops, nothing really dirty there. Duncan gets away with putting his hand on your hip stopping your horizontal momentum when he blocks your shot, savvy, not dirty though.

Find the quote where Eva said that Tony admitted to her that he flops and pretends to be more hurt than he is to milk the refs. Again, it's more flopping than dirty play, but it works.

I realize you guys are Spurs fans, but please don't tell me you actually dispute Bowen being a dirty player. Call a spade a spade, admit it doesn't bother you as much because he's doing it for you team, but that dude is as dirty as they come.

I will just show some of the funnier ones like Bowen kicking Wally, the Duncan face, Horry checking Nash and add some commentary to it to drill home the point. It is just to persuade people into believing they are dirty, and with all this evidence, it won't take much to instill that thinking. I am just doing this because I think it will be really easy for me, I'm a good speaker and this topic and the evidence should easily do the job.

Just google them, "ray allen on bruce bowen," "michael finley on bruce bowen," etc. They're all out there.

Remember Cuban had the incident where he encouraged Howard to hit Bowen in the face "accidentally." And Josh Howard has had run ins with Bowen a few times.

See if you can find the conversation Tim Duncan and Ray Allen had in the locker room of the all star game where Duncan pretty much submitted to the fact Bowen is dirty.

Last year's playoffs, although I think the Spurs were just the victims of a bias against them. Horry didn't mean to give suspensions to Amare and Diaw, and the scary incident with Deron Williams was just a hard screen.

I don't think the Spurs are a dirty team, Bruce Bowen may have some dirty tactics, but you don't hear about Tim Duncan kicking people, so I think it's just Bruce.
