Then basically the rest of the time has been recognising who is nice, and who is a dick. Plenty of both.

when i first joined i never expected to stay with the board and actually check in a couple times a day. my first posts were all cussing out Glove_20 and saying he sucks at fantasy basketball.. this was all so i could get into the ISH league 2 which has its own subforum. eventually i took over a team and stayed active in the fantasy forum.. then i found the otc where i posted for a while.. now i post all over the place :hammertime:

My first memories were of the Pacers forum, and posting in the Nets forum saying something about how old and past his prime Vince Carter was, then VCDAPTW came in and deleted my posts also editing a couple to say whatever he wanted. I was pissed. I also remember my first post in the OTC, and someone coming in and saying something about "just wait til you're GoBBed". I had know clue what a GoBB was at the time, and was a bit confused. I started off pretty slow though. Probably only had 100 posts in my first 3 weeks.

My first memory, was when on the old board, some white guy whose name was Jamal, apparently got shot in a driveby. He then got one of his friends to come and post the story on ISH.

I also remember the Crane incident. I can't remember who it was, but some one came on to the message board scared sh!tless because he tried to get a crane out of his yard with by chasing it with a baseball bat, but the bird chased him instead. I remember gobb being his usual self and making the situation worse for the guy by laughing and making fun of him. :oldlol:

On the old board I did have an account but I only had 4-5 posts on it, because I was mainly a lurker back then and only checking the board once a week or so.


Oh and how could I forget Evo8, with his snowboarding bunny and quad season.

when I first joined here, around the time the new board opened (that talk dominated a lot of chatter) there was a lot of g@y sh*t like 'The Dragon Club' and the '80s Rack'. Clubs banning together to make this a better place, get rid of all the bad posters, when in reality a large part of their ranks were some of the clownier posters on the set. I think everyone saw the g@ynees in it and moved on.

Actaully, I don't remember much, but I do remember when I first registered, I realized how little I knew about the NBA and basketball in general compared to the people that post on this site. I was used to being the "basketball" guy in my group of friends, in which we all enjoyed basketball, and played it/watched it all the time. Then I lost those friends and came here and started getting schooled on everything. I'm now just a "lurker" on the NBA forum, rarely posting there.
