I have the Jordan sub zeroes for b-ball, regretting I got them though, they comfortable but not to pretty IMO.
I just got a pair of Nike Shox 2:40's and I love them. Nice look, very comfortable, not really ball shoes but they don't hurt when playing ball, I'm quicker in them.
I wear LBJ2s. I also own two pairs of TMAC 2s and a pair of TMAC 1s. I was thinking about picking up a pair of TMAC 5s after my LGJ2s wear out. Can you give me some pros and cons?

I wear a pair of Nike Air Force Operates (the ones Amare used to wear) for indoor ball (nice and light and with good support, even for lowcuts and a solid pair for a big man) and LeBron Zoom 20-5-5 for outdoor (heavy, but REALLY comfy). I used to wear a pair of TMac 2s for outdoor, but I didn't really like them all that much, as well as a pair of TMac 4s which REALLY SUCK (I made the mistake of buying them right after they came out; but they're really HEAVY and they make my feet blister and bleed around the arch area after 1/2 an hour of play as well as starting to break apart about 10 hours of play into wearing them - the sole started to unglue from the front of the shoe).

I was thinking about picking up a pair of TMAC 5s after my LGJ2s wear out.
I don't like the T-Mac 5s. Besides being ugly, they seem to be heavy and easily worn out. I had friends who have them and say they like them, but after trying on a pair I was skeptical of its performance, seems it's easy to roll and ankle and the traction seems to be weak...I'd probably pick up a pair of 2k5s now that they're cheap all over.
I ball in Zoom Drives mostly...but I'm about to wear them out. They're nice, though it has no ankle support. Been playing in LBJ2s before that, was a good pair and I wore the hell out of them. Looking to pick up the Penny 4s next.

I love the Tmac 5's. They aren't heavy like some other poster said.
I have always had foot problems in basketball where the bottom of both my feet would be extremely sore during the games, kind of like a sharp pain in the middle of the arch. I felt that in every shoe I had, except the Tmac 5's.

I have the Jordan 19s and wore them for about a year before there's a big hole on the inner front bottom of my left shoe. They had really comfortable cushioning, was light, had good traction and good ankle protection (I sprained my ankles 3 times in my previous shoe and never sprained it once in the Jordans). They don't seem to last very long, however, but maybe that because I played them outdoors a lot.
I wore my Huarache 2k4 a few times, I thought they felt more natural than the Jordans, but I think they are even less durable. I got them real cheap though, just $50 at Footlocker a few months ago, I just wanted to try them out and the box they bought out had a cheaper price than the display, so i bought it. They're cheap now too, but only have size 18+.
Does anyone know how the other Jordans performs? I'm talking about the ones different from their main style, like Team Concept or the other hundred names they come up with.

Indoors I'm wearing the Jordans XXI. Before them I had the And 1 The Quest, my favourite shoe so far.
Outdoors I'm switching between And 1 The Quest, And 1 Starbury mid (looks just ok, but the performance is great) and my old The Kobe from adidas.

And1s are made for outdoor balling. I used to get horrible splinters from a pair once. They're durable as hell though, just that the quality isn't that great.

Some And 1 shoes are good. But there are also some horrible ones. I love And1s The Quest. A great shoe for guards.
I had huge problems with Nikes like broken soles, destroyed air cushioning, etc.
So I switched to And1 and had some great shoes. But now most of their shoes look ugly, so I switched to the new Jordan.

I wear the the T-Mac 5. They're the best bball shoes ive ever worn. I've had the iversons, jordans, kobes, and1s and nike shox and the T-Mac 5 feels the best. The thing I love about them is unlike most shoes, they get more comfortable the longer you wear them. I usually play ball for like 5 to 10 hours and when im done my feet don't feel heavy or hurt at all.
I wear Lebron 2 it feels good but quite heavy, I wear the And1 Desire mid before

Adidas SS Structure!!! They are the bomb!!! I got em in all black. The cushioning is similar to the Nike shox, but BETTER! They don't sag or fall apart like Nike Shox. I played in them for over 3 hours once and my feet felt good. They weren't sore or beat up when I was done. The shoes are pretty light to. I hate heavy shoes. They got em in different colors. I wanted the White and black but they didn't have my size.

Man, you all are crazy....it souns like everyone buys the popular shoes and plays basketball in them because they're expensive and cool. I will never buy anything other than And1 for my basketball shoes. Right now I have the ones Stephon Marbury put out a year or so ago. (I have the North Carolina-ish blue color on white leather.) They're extremely supportive of your ankles and they hug your feet nicely while you play. They're very light, and extremely good-looking (to me). They don't breathe well, but who expects to have feet that don't smell or sweat after you get done playing basketball? Peace

i used to wear the tmac1's but unfortunately it broke after years of service, twas the best for me.. right now i'm playing in the melo 5.5 , great ankle support but i don't like the cushioning, it aint as responsive as i want it to be,, i feel pain in my sheen after playing in it.. i also wear my old adidas sl 3, great for me, coz i have flat feet, i feel comfy anf my feet are locked down tight.,.. but the best pair i use are my lbj2,awesome cushioning and ankle support, though heavy, it is still the best for me..

I got those shoes when they were released, before the price soared. I play in a gym, so the only thing that happens to my shoes when I ball is they crease.
