Everyone always mentions that Immortal Technique song where he accidentally rapes hi mom, but in my opinion Immortal Technique is crappy music that was made to appeal to suburban whities who like to think of themselves as underground.

I'm saying this as a "suburban whitey", so take it how you want to. He definitely became popular with that song, but for the most part, that's the only song of his that those "whities" have heard, and they haven't checked out the rest of his stuff.
It's obvious that he isn't a very good rapper. Horrible flow, terrible voice, awkward rhymes, etc, etc, etc. To go along with a few overproduced beats as well. Still, you can't doubt the content he puts in his music. The overall production of his records might be ****ty overall, but for me, it's worth listening to anyways, just because of the issues he talks about in all his work. A lot of it is over the top, but it doesn't make it not worth listening to.
The second verse of this song is unreal.
That's a good call.

Really, I thought he only had one song, "Learn Chinese". It will go down in history as the greatest rap song ever written. Nah, but seriously, Jin is an awesome freestyler, other then that, not a good rapper commercially.

When it comes to melancholy rap, I like Common's poetic catalog, like "I Used To Love H.E.R."
