I seen on Jumpusa where they offer a liquid to rub on your shoes that will improve grip, however Im looking to save and dont really want to pay the 20 something bucks for this bottle of "grip". I usually buy new shoes every 3 months but I want to fight the non swept hardwood floors. Licking the shoe does ok, but you have to do it over and over and over and its really not that hygienic. I have read some reports of people using hairspray, any of you tried it? What works for you?

When you put something that "grips" on, it will lead to increased pickup of dust and dirt, which will lead to more slippage in the long run. Have your coach get those sticky mats (forget the name off the top of my head)...that way you can step on them anytime.

buy adidas shoes. they have some special grips which are differnet from nike grips. the one adidas have are way better than the grip nike`s have. I recommend buying adidas basketball shoe that fits you the most and im sure you wont regret it.
