Who is the strongest NBA player ever? Who is it right now?

It's not about physical size or weight. Who could lift the most?

If you are talking about who can lift the most you need to look at body type. Dwight has pretty long arms and I would guess that a shorter limbed guy (Like Ben Wallace from a few years back) could bench more than him. Even a little guy like Nate Robinson could out-squat most of the league.

Nene! Watching him defend Shaq was hilarious, I had never seen somebody just outmuscle Shaq that badly before

If it comes down to just who can lift the most, no doubt nate robinson. Earl boykins could bench 315 pounds with his 135 lb body, because he's so small and has to lift the weights such a short distance.

Greg Oden right now, Shaq all time.

I was listening to Channing Frye on several different podcasts talk about how he defended Dwight Howard and Amare for the Olympics and then went to guard Oden and was amazed because of how strong he is. Now with a year of lifting weights under his belt he must be the strongest guy in the league.

"He's the strongest guy in the league."

It's the last 2 minutes of this so you have to skip to the end once it loads. About one eighth left to play on the quicktime bar.

Damn....

I wonder how long I'd last if I picked a fight with him. By the way, link?

Ben Wallace, Shaq, David Robinson. Maggette looks very strong as well. Anyone seen his arms? They're huge.

Kevin Willis
I think it was between Kevin Willis and Oakley... At least they benched 225 lbs like 50 times or something that absurd. Willis did just enough to beat Oakley if I remember correctly.

Shaq is still the strongest by far and the strongest of all time.
