1. Jason Kidd

http://www.nba.com/media/act_jason_kidd.jpg

Arguably the best Point Guard in the early part of this decade, the 6-4 Jason Kidd is highly regarded as one of the best passing PG of all time, and he is also a walking triple double machine.

Ranked 2nd in playoffs triple-doubles (11)
Ranked 3rd in regular season triple-doubles (100)

One of the best moment of his NBA Career is by leading the New Jersey Nets in the NBA Finals in the 2002 and 2003 Season, and during the 2002 Eastern Conference Finals he became the only 2nd player in NBA history to averaged a triple double in the playoffs. In the Boston Series, Kidd averaged 17.5 points, 11.2 rebounds, and 10.2 assists per game in 7 games.

He is currently playing for the Dallas Mavericks, and the one thing that elude him in his Illustrious NBA Career is winning an NBA Championship ring

Too bad it's not going to happen because i don't think the Mavericks are capable of advancing in the NBA Finals next season.

2. Grant Hill -

http://www.bballone.com/granth/pistons/images/pistons8.jpg

One of the best all around player in the 1990's while playing for the Detroit Pistons.

He was the 3rd overall pick in the 1994 NBA Draft, and he was also one of the highly recruited talent in College.

Grant Hill quickly made an impact in his first full season in the NBA, after he averaged 19.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.77 steals per game, and along side Jason Kidd he won the 1995 NBA Rookie Of the Year Awards.

Hill is also one of the most popular player of all time after leading the NBA ALL Star Ballots in his rookie season, and becoming one of the most popular endorser of all time with his FILA and Sprite Commercial in the mid 1990's.

His best individual season in the NBA came during the 1995-96 Season, this time the 6'8" Grant Hill, averaged 21.4 points, 9.0 rebounds, 7.3 assists and 1.8 steals per game becoming only the 2nd player since Larry Bird to accomplished that feat, and he also lead the Pistons to a 54 wins- losses Record in the Eastern Conference.

It's a shame that he isn't going to be inducted in the Basketball Hall of Fame because his ankle injury prevent him from dominating after the Jordan era, and after he came back from his injury he was merely a shadow of his former self.

3. Glenn Robinson -

http://hoopedia.nba.com/images/5/58/Act_glenn_robinson.jpg

The First overall pick in the 1994 NBA Draft, He was a 6'7" athletic forward, Twice an All-Star in his NBA Career, Robinson averaged more than 20 points and six rebounds a game while playing for the Bucks, Sixers, Hawks, and Spurs.

In his first season with the Milwaukee Bucks, Robinson was twice named the Schick NBA Rookie of the Month, and was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team after leading all rookies in scoring with an average of 21.0 ppg, and he ranked 3rd in the 1995 NBA Rookie of the Year Voting.

The highlight of his NBA Career is Robinson leading the Bucks in the 2001 Eastern Conference Finals, and that was the peak of his NBA Career, he played well in the playoffs, but the Sixers are just a better team than the Milwaukee Bucks.

I think he is an underachiever because he is one of the most talented player in College, but he didn't have the work ethics that would make him a special player in the NBA.

Stats

Career: 20.2 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 2.7 apg, 0.6 bpg, 1.2 spg

4. Eddie Jones

http://i.a.cnn.net/si/2007/fantasy/02/23/wire.wire/t1_ejones_all.jpg

Eddie Jones was one of the best defenders in the 1990's while playing for the Los Angeles Lakers and the Charlotte Hornets.

He quickly made a name for himself in his first season with the Los Angeles Lakers, after he averaged 14.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 2.0 steals per game.

Jones was also the second MVP of the annual Rookie Challenge, after he tallied a game-high 25 points, 6 steals, and 4 rebounds in a losing effort as the White Team beat the Green Team 83-79.

http://www.nba.com/history/allstar/rookie_box_1995.html

During the 1999 lockout Season he was traded to the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for the service of 6'8" SF Glenn Rice, and while playing in his new team, Jones had his best statistical season in the NBA, when he averaged 20.1 points, 2.7 steals (1st that season), 4.2 assists, and 4.8 rebounds per game, and the fans voted him as a starter in the NBA All Star,

I think people will always remember Eddie Jones as one of the greatest role player in the NBA, and his stats might not be impressive after being traded to several team in the NBA, but he is still one of the great pick in the First round of the 1994 NBA Draft.

Stats

Career: 14.8 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 2.9 apg, 1.7 spg, 0.6 bpg
Playoffs: 12.8 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 2.4 apg, 1.3 spg, 0.8 bpg

1994-95 ALL NBA Rookie First Ream
1999-00 ALL NBA First Team

5. Jalen Rose

http://www.nba.com/media/bulls/rose_030405.jpg

He was the 13th overall pick in the 1994 NBA Draft, and he is known to be a versatile player in the NBA because he is capable of playing the 1, 2, and 3 position.

I think he improved as a player after being traded to the Indiana Pacers, and he also have a memorable performance in the 2000 NBA Finals againts the Los Angeles Lakers after outscoring Kobe Bryant in the championship series.

His best season in the NBA is while playing for the Chicago Bulls, and Rose was the Bulls leading scorer in the 2002-03 NBA Season after he averaged 22.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.2 assists, but despite his great scoring output his team was one of the worst franchise in the NBA during that time.

Stats

Career: 14.8 ppg,3.5 rpg, 3.8 apg, 0.8 bpg, 0.3 spg
Playoffs: 14.6 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 2.0 apg, 0.40 bpg, 0.80 spg

Awards and Accomplishments

Most Improved Player (2000)

6. Juwan Howard

http://img99.imageshack.us/img99/5098/juhowarddd0.jpg

The Fifth overall pick in the 1994 NBA Draft, the 6'9" Juwan Howard was one of the best prospect in College, and he is also a very hardworking player while playing for the rebuilding Washington Bullets.

His best season came during the 1995-96 season, after Howard averaged 22.1 points, 8.1 rebounds and 4.4 assists, he was also included to the Eastern Conference's All-Star team for the first time in his NBA Career.

Howard is an underachiever because he is a talented scorer, but he is not capable of carrying his team in the playoffs, and i think him being a journeyman really hurt his chances to become a Superstar in the League.

Stats

Career: 15.3 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 2.5 apg, 0.8 spg, 0.3 bpg
Playoffs: 9.8 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 1.2 apg, 0.30 bpg, 0.50 spg

Awards and Accomplishments

NBA All-Star (1996)
All-NBA (1996)
All-Rookie(1995)

I don't draft players that have very poor defensive ratings. The only NBA players that are good defensively in this draft class.

Jason Kidd and Grant Hill

What a very intriguing draft class. As a collective of the top 5 career achievement individuals, probably a class with the best individual skills, but the least amount of success. Most had to really journey and find their careers seemingly take off, but only got haulted being in a situation that really never panned out.

This draft class had some real good numbers for rookies.

You had 2 20 ppg scorers in Hill and Robinson, a 17-8 guy in Howard, 12-8-6 from Kidd, 14 ppg from Jones, Rose who put up 8 but became a good scorer, Brian Grant 13 and 7.

Then you had some good role players like Aaron Mckie, Wesley Person, Charlie Ward, Voshon Lenard, Funderburke.

Then some high potential guys who never panned out - Clifford Rozier, Carlos Rogers.

A very good draft class in terms of talent, buy underachieved in terms of what they could have been.

I was a huge Grant Hill fan in his prime. The best crossover I've ever seen for a guy around 6'8", incredible passing/playmaking skills and great athleticism.

He was his teams point forward but also he carried the scoring load. He was also maybe the best rebounding small forward since Larry Bird.

In Grant's second season he averaged 20 points, almost 10 rebounds(9.8) and 7 assists. The next year he averaged more than 21 ppg, 9 rebounds and over 7 assists per game. Then in 1999-2000(his last season before all the injuries) he averaged 26, 7 and 5.

It's amazing that after all of the injuries he was an all-star again in 2004-2005 and averaged 20, 5 and 3 on 51% shooting.

It's too bad he never got to really play with prime T-Mac. If not for the injuries I have no doubt Grant would have been a top 5 small forward of all-time.

There goes Grant and Kidd retiring nearly 2 decades later :applause:
