I was there too. It was too bad our season was basically over at that point though... Wisconsin really never loses at home, it's always the tough road games and west coast schedule at the beginning of the season. I missed out on season tickets this season too because my school is out to "balance" the upperclassmen and underclassmen situation :banghead:

Wow, I don't even know the ages when I lived in places. And I'm sure I don't remember everywhere I've lived, but here goes:

Born in: Augsburg, Germany
-Population: 263,477 as of Jan. 2007
Here's a picture of people walking around:
http://www.chandelierrental.com/kroonluchters/augsburg/augsburg-03-kl.JPG

After living in Germany for a while, we moved to London and Cambridge for a little bit.

Some image of Cambridge:
http://www.prestigetoursofcambridge.co.uk/library/gallery/streetbig.jpg

some image of London:
http://traveldk.com/dkimages/0-london_master.jpg

Then I got to live in Kansas City. Yay -_-

http://c66.yellowpages.com/images/guides/kansas_city_mo_local.jpg

And then I live over here, Across the River where nothing happens...:
http://farm1.static.flickr.com/103/365311645_bb2ee2f940.jpg

And presently, I live near the Airforce Base over here. I like looking at the Planes =). There's not a good enough picture on the net of it.

That's all I can remember. I've been to a lot of other places, but I haven't lived there.

I hope you all know how much I hate you for living in nicer places, and more than one city or state or country in your lifetimes.

I have lived in different neighborhoods in Detroit for the past 21 years, with one excursion into the "suburbs" that's still not even 5 minutes from the city.

The majority of my lifetime has been spent in Southwest, 7 Mile, or Joy Road. Fantastic.

Have you been to Munich and Berlin? Which one do you like more if you have?

Brunch@Five
07-24-2008, 05:56 PM
I like Munich better than Berlin, it's not as huge as Berlin but still offers all the advantage of a cosmopolitan city. Both cities are great though, but even if everything is equal, Munich still has better weather ;)

edit: My favorite city though is Cologne, by far. Actually only a 20 minutes by train from where I live.

You were in SC for seven years? Do tell.

My mom and stepdad got jobs down there, so we lived there for awhile. The particular area I lived at fit all the stereotypes when you think of South Carolina. Rural, somewhat racist, lots of bible thumpers, etc. I don't know if the rest of the state is that bad, but it was where I lived at.

I do miss the weather, and the close access to beaches and mountains. That is one thing that the Carolinas definately have going for them. And I actually love North Carolina. Just not a huge fan of SC.

I haven't been back down to the little town we lived in since 2002. I plan on going to my 10-year High School reunion next year, so that ought to be real interesting.

Back in Ohio now. Not living in Pittsburgh anymore.

Very cool thread... except my residential experiences have been boring compared to a lot of people on here, as I have never lives permanently outside of Colorado.

Born in Boulder, CO, pop ~100,00

http://www.princeton.edu/~ekeller/img/boulder.jpg

Stunningly beautiful city but out of state douche college boys ruin everything. Summertime is best b/c they're all gone for 3 months.

Ages 0-18, Lafayette, CO, pop ~ 10,000-27,000 currently

http://pics4.city-data.com/cpicv/vfiles12426.jpg

Not much to do but ride your bike everywhere until 16 when you start getting drunk 4 times a week. Still a great place to grow up though. The more I think about it, the more I love it there. Lafayette was also the "spokestown" for Oatmeal and their cholesterol lowering campaign. It was BS, none of the the people in the commercials was from here. **** YOU QUAKER.

We also have a haunted cemetery with a vampire grave and EVP recordings.
http://www.ghostpi.com/Main%20Feature%20Folder/ghost%20bubble2.jpghttp://www.roadsideamerica.com/attract/images/co/COLAFvampire_severin.jpg

I worked as a grave digger in that cemetery during the summer of 2006. Awesome job.

Age 18-19, La Junta, CO, pop ~ no one f*cking cares

http://www.visitlajunta.org/images/ojcAerial2009.jpg

Hell hole. Rattle snakes, scorpions, migrating herds of tarantulas, wolf spiders. Middle of nowhere. I went there to play JC basketball and wanted to kill myself in less than a week. The U-shaped building in the left corner was my dorm.

Ages 20-21, Boulder, CO

See above. Went to CU. Lots of hot girls and weed and beer and intramural basketball. That's was about it for 18 months.

Ages 21- Present, Denver, CO, pop ~ 600,000

I LOVE Denver. Not too too big/small and majority people are nice and helpful. One of the healthiest cities in America and consistently voted one of the top places to live.

http://www.jaylichtman.com/pictures/picture-denver-colorado-denver-skyline-with-six-flags.jpghttp://www.improvbuilders.com/files/QuickSiteImages/denver_skyline.jpg

Specifically, I live in Cherry Creek, about 4 miles SE of downtown.

Nice, I was supposed to go to Tracy High the year I lived there (I got the ages mixed up I lived on West 11th St. my freshman year so it was 14 yrs old) but opted to go Manteca High still since those were all my friends that I grew up with. Tracy was still in our league for sports and I remember they killed us Fr. year of basketball :oldlol:

Interesting. While I was a student at Ohio University, I dated at girl from that town (I think--not 100 percent sure). She might be a few years younger than you. She graduated from OU in 2008, so I'm guessing she was the class of 2004?

When I was there...........seemed like your garden variety suburb. I HATED the traffic there, though. Took forever to get around. I eventually learned the back roads, but at first, it was pretty bad.
